Romans 8:1-5: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (2) For the law of the Spirit of Life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (3) For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, (4) in order that the righteousness requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (5) For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit.” (ESV – all emphasis is mine)

Romans 8:7-8: “For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Romans 8:38-39: “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

When our Creator, in the form of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, created the universe and with it our earth, humans were initially created immortal. However, when the fallen archangel Satan entered the scene, God’s pure and holy world changed drastically. When the first sin was committed, Satan effectively committed murder, as all living things became mortal with a limited life expectancy, and death entered the world.

From the very beginning, our Heavenly Father has allowed free choice. He could’ve very well been dominant and forced our cooperation, but that would not be a sign of a loving Creator.

God knew that humans could never offer any sacrifice that would cover committed sins. All human blood from Adam and Eve forward has been tainted by their original sin. It would take pure, sinless blood to satisfy the Father’s requirement to cover sin, and as Hebrews 10:4 states, “For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sin.”

Our Lord and Savior Jesus came to this earth in human form, but not through the normal act of conception. He was put in Mary’s womb by the Holy Spirit, and His blood never mixed with hers. He became the only sin-free blood human to have ever lived on this earth, and will be the only one to the end of this world.

Jesus knew exactly what would take place and the suffering He would have to go through on our behalf. In John 10, He plainly states He is the “Good Shepherd” who lays down His life for His sheep. And, He does not do this only for God’s chosen people, the Jews. John 10:16 plainly states that He lays down His life for all who will accept Him. To have eternal life, we must receive and accept His sacrifice to become a part of His precious flock.

What is absolutely amazing is that Jesus could have stopped His suffering at any moment, but He totally completed God’s requirement so that all sins – past, present and future – could be covered.

We are all sinners in need of a Savior, as we cannot possibly save ourselves (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, and Romans 6:23). Our part in this process is to follow the ABCs of Romans 10:9-13. Admit we are all sinners and cannot save ourselves. Believe that Jesus is truly God’s Son who came to this earth to provide the only sin-free blood sacrifice that the Father could ever accept. We must Call out for Jesus to forgive us and to become our eternal Savior.

Once we have received and accepted this free gift, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us as long as we’re on this earth. That’s found in numerous books of the Bible, Old and New Testaments.

When the time arrives that the ultimate antichrist is about to be released (2 Thessalonians 2), all who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit will be taken up to meet our Savior in the air to keep us from the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, and Revelation 3:10).

It should be noted that the event described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, commonly called the Rapture, will be over in “the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52). No one will have time to fulfill the ABCs and be saved at that moment. It will benefit all who have already been saved.

There are no hidden secrets to our being saved, but those who are of his world under Satan’s influence will consider this foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18). It will still be possible to be saved through the tribulation, but the cost will most likely be martyrdom.

Consider carefully how you would want to spend your eternity. There are only two places available – Heaven or Hell. No matter what false prophets are saying, that’s it.

Now consider just what our Lord and Savior provided for all of us if we truly become a part of His precious flock.

In 1948, Marvin Dalton (1906-1987) wrote “Oh, What a Savior.” The first released recording was by The Stamps in 1950.

(Preface) He gave His life’s blood for even me.

1.) Once I was straying in sin’s dark valley; no hope within could I see. But they searched through Heaven and found a Savior to save a poor lost soul like me.

Ref.) Oh, what a Savior; Oh, Hallelujah; His heart was broken on Calvary. His hands were nail-scared; His side was riven. He gave His life’s blood for even me.

2.) Death’s chilly water I’ll soon be crossing, but His hand will lead me safely over. Then I’ll join that chorus in that Great City, and I’ll sing up there forever and ever more. (Ref)

(Post) For even me; Oh, What A Savior!

No one else has gone as far as our Lord and Savior has to make sure we all would be able to be with Him forever. All your sins can be washed away by the pure, sinless blood that our Savior shed on that cruel cross. His sacrifice was once for all sins, and no other sacrifice will ever do.

God allowed temporary, continuous sacrifices prior to Calvary, but when Jesus rose from the dead, His sacrifice conquered sin and eternal death for all who would truly receive and accept Him.

Today would not be too early; tomorrow could be too late. God is allowing you the choice of your eternity. Choose wisely!
