Personal Epiphany

I had a revelation this morning, "I am not yet perfect." For those of you who know me personally, that may come as a surprise. LOL! Seriously though, I think sometimes we get so focused on what we see wrong with others that we forget what is wrong with us. Perhaps seeing the wrongs in others or the things that we don't agree with make us feel better about ourselves. Jesus, however, teaches us that we should look first at ourselves and fix what is wrong in us before we start looking for the wrong in others. I for one have issues, but don't we all. There are struggles in my life; daily temptations, aggravations, chores I don't want to do, and so on. I am not yet perfect in how I deal with them or how I overcome them. That is why I am so thankful for grace. The grace of God keeps me. The grace of God keeps us. Before we start judging others, lets take a look at ourselves first. May God keep us humble. God bless and have a great day.
