When Pres. Trump announced that the U.S. was going to war with Iran (Operation Epic Fury),
- He encouraged U.S. citizens to pray for help and protection.
- He said we sought repeatedly to make a deal, but our diplomatic efforts proved fruitless.
- Our efforts were fruitless because the Iranian regime just wanted to “practice evil.”
On Mar. 2, 2026, Breanna Claussen (Editor-in-Chief of Harbinger’s Daily wrote:
- There are some ideologies so deluded and entangled with “practicing evil” that their actions can no longer be swayed by reason.
- The regime in Tehran was a perfect example of this irrational—and demonic—mindset.
Claussen quoted Erick Stakelbeck (host of the Watchman Newscast), who said,
- Despite the heavy blows over the past two years, none of these antisemitic and demonically driven bad actors repented.
- Since the 12-Day War, Iran has become even more arrogant and boastful, levying constant threats against Israel and America.
- Evil is relentless until it is utterly crushed.
Bible prophecy teachers have long believed that Iran’s evil desires and deeds are evidence that Iran is controlled by Satan’s demons (Dan. 10:13; Eph. 6:12; Rev. 9:14).
Satan knows that his time is short (Rev. 12:12).
He and his demons are filled with fury.
Bible prophecy tells us:
- Evil men will wax worse and worse (II Tim. 3:13) at the end of the age.
- Something will trigger a temporary peace (the Antichrist will strengthen a covenant with many for seven years of peace).
- The temporary peace will be followed by a global bloodbath (a Tribulation Period; the time of Jacob’s Trouble – unbelieving Israel’s – trouble; Jer. 30:7) coming.
- But Satan will be bound and chained for 1,000 years (Rev. 20:2).
- And a day of rest is coming (Heb. 4:3-5).
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:
One, concerning regime change in Iran: on Mar. 6, 2026, Reza Pahlavi, son of the former Shah of Iran, said:
- He has agreed to accept the role of Iran’s transitional leader.
- For nearly five decades, this terrorist regime (Iran) has sown chaos and bloodshed across our region.
- It propped up Assad, turning Syria into a graveyard.
- It planted Hezbollah as a state within a state in Lebanon.
- It armed the Houthis to destabilize the Arabian Peninsula.
- It empowered militias in Iraq to undermine Iraqi sovereignty.
- It attacked the economic hubs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
- None of this has ever been the desire of the Iranian people, but rather that of a regime occupying our country.
- The Iranian people have called on me to lead the transition after the regime is gone. I have accepted that responsibility.
- Part of their great mandate to me is to return our nation and our foreign relations to normalcy.
- I will do exactly that.
(My opinion: Iran is controlled by demonically inspired leaders, and they will continue to attack Israel until God destroys them in the Battle of Gog of Magog. I am very concerned that the U.S. and Israel will halt the attacks before all of these demonically inspired leaders are removed. Sorry, Mr. Pahlavi, I hope I am wrong, but I don’t think we will get regime change yet. We may get a pause in the war for negotiations with lying leaders, but the Battle of Gog of Magog must take place.)
Two, concerning regime change in Iran: on Mar. 6, 2026, Herald Boas wrote the following on AMAC Newsline:
- Ignoring earlier agreements that it would not develop nuclear weapons, Iran continued to enrich uranium to weapons-grade and secretly made efforts to build a nuclear bomb.
- When Israeli and U.S. intelligence determined in 2024 that the regime was getting close to succeeding, the coalition of Israel and the U.S. successfully acted to cripple Iran’s weapons capability, but they left Ayatollah Khamenei and his radical government in place.
- It soon became apparent to Israel and the U.S. that Iran had not only restarted its nuclear weapon development, but had also begun to create intercontinental ballistic missiles which could reach Europe and the U.S. with nuclear warheads.
- Considering its 47-year history of hatred and violence against Israel and the U.S. and its long record of sponsoring global terror, it became clear to President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu that only a prompt and drastic change in Iran could eliminate the threat.
(My comment: I think Mr. Boas is right, nothing but a prompt and drastic change in Iran will eliminate the threat. The Mullahs are controlled by Satan, and that is not going to change. They must be taken out. But according to my understanding of the Bible, that won’t happen until God intervenes, and I don’t think it will be long until He does.)
(Note: Concerning Iran’s enriched uranium, see Item Nine below.)
Three, concerning regime change in Iran: on Mar. 6, 2026, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) staff wrote the following:
- Even if a new Iranian government initially moves toward the West, decades of ideological hostility toward Israel cannot simply disappear overnight. Generations of Iranians have been raised under a regime that relentlessly demonized Israel and the Jewish people.
- Cultural and political shifts take time.
- Internal factions remain.
- Power struggles emerge.
- And geopolitical pressures from nations like Russia or Turkey could pull Iran back toward a different alignment in the future.
- In other words, today’s developments may represent a pause–not a cancellation–of prophetic expectations.
- For believers, this requires patience and perspective.
- Scripture never instructs Christians to force prophecy into current events.
- Instead, it calls them to remain watchful, humble, and faithful.
- God is not reacting to world events.
- He is orchestrating history according to His purposes.
- That truth should bring deep reassurance.
- The same God who restored Israel after two millennia, who caused deserts to bloom and nations to rise, is the same God guiding the events that will eventually fulfill every remaining promise written in Scripture.
- The path to those fulfillments may twist and turn in ways no one expects.
- But the destination has never been in doubt.
Four, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Mar. 5, 2026, Israel’s Defense Min. said, “Two of the world’s most powerful militaries are dominating the skies of the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.”
(More: On Mar. 5, 2026, Israel’s Defense Min. said, “Israel is expanding its attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah chose to join the campaign against Israel. Now it is paying a heavy price.”)
(Update: On Mar. 9, 2026, it was reported that Israeli ground forces have penetrated deeper into southern Lebanon; Beirut, Lebanon’s southern suburbs are again under attack, and fighting is also raging in eastern Lebanon.)
(Update: On Mar. 10, 2026, it was reported that roughly 700,000 people in Lebanon, including about 200,000 children, have been displaced by Israeli airstrikes.)
(Update: On Mar. 11, 2026, Israel said it has eliminated the commander of Hezbollah’s Nassar Unit, one of the Iranian-backed terror organization’s three units operating in Southern Lebanon.)
(Update: On Mar. 11, 2026, Israel’s ambassador to the UN told the UN that Hezbollah lashed out at Israel, not to defend Lebanon. Not to protect Lebanese citizens. But to serve the agenda of the Iranian regime. He urged the UN to take action against Hezbollah.)
Five, concerning wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age, with implications for the Battle of Gog of Magog: on Mar. 6, 2026, The Washington Post reported that:
- Russia is providing Iran with information to target US forces in the Middle East.
- Russia has been giving Iran the locations of US military assets since the outbreak of the war, including warships and aircraft.
- This signals that the expanding conflict now includes one of the US’s biggest nuclear competitors with exquisite intelligence capabilities.
- It also marks a shift from what experts previously thought, namely that Russia would stay away from the conflict and limit its response to diplomatic condemnations.
Six, concerning the current war with Iran: on Mar. 5, 2026, Tania Koenig reported that,
- Trump said the United States military, together with its Israeli partners, is demolishing the enemy far ahead of schedule.
- The nations of the Gulf are now feeling in their own flesh what it means to be targeted by missiles against civilian populations. Iran attempted to strike far beyond Israel, and that has changed the political atmosphere in the region. Instead of isolating Israel, Iran’s actions may have accelerated regional alignment against its strategy of intimidation and destabilization.
- The military infrastructure behind Iran’s regional power projection is being dismantled in a sustained campaign. If that capability is neutralized, the strategic landscape of the Middle East could change in ways not seen since the revolution reshaped the region in 1979.
- This moment may open the door to a very different future in the Middle East.
Seven¸ this April, as our nation approaches 250 years of freedom, something extraordinary will take place in Washington, D.C. For one full week (beginning Apr. 19, 2026, at the Museum of the Bible for 12 hours each day), 475 leaders from across America will gather in our nation’s capital to read the Bible aloud — from Genesis to Revelation — publicly and without interruption.
Eight, concerning advances in technology: on Mar. 6, 2026, it was reported that the first remote robotic surgery has been hailed as a milestone by medics after a surgeon in London operated on a patient with prostate cancer who was some 2,400km (1500 miles) away in Gibraltar.
The patient is doing extremely well.
Nine, concerning Iran’s enriched uranium: on Mar. 9, 2026, it was reported that:
- Deep beneath the ground near the Iranian city of Isfahan lies the ayatollahs’ treasure chest.
- Lead-lined, it contains Iran’s most valuable asset: more than 400 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium.
- The world’s most radioactive buried treasure was entombed by the U.S. and Israel during the June war and is thought to be inaccessible without a large excavation effort.
- But according to a recent U.S. intelligence report, there remains a “very narrow access point” through which the Iranians—or the U.S.—could potentially retrieve the prize.
- I’m not being playful when I say this is the treasure of the regime.
- It cost them hundreds of billions to create, and it is their most powerful weapon—though more in negotiations than in destructive potential.
- That makes it valuable to the U.S. and Israel as well: Take away the uranium, and you remove a load-bearing beam in the regime’s infrastructure.
- Fortunately, pulling up IRGC-branded moving trucks is not an option.
- The site is watched from above by the U.S. and Israel; any Iranian attempt at extraction would be met with an excessive amount of munitions.
- An allied operation faces similar challenges.
- Four hundred kilograms of uranium doesn’t fit easily into a backpack.
- Any operation would require significant forces around the “very narrow access point” to repel what would likely be a substantial Iranian counterattack.
- But Trump hasn’t ruled out sending in special forces, and rumors from both Israel and the U.S. indicate that such an operation is being considered.

Ten, concerning Israel being a great army at the end of the age, Israel is already a great army, but more than 300,000 citizens of Jerusalem have just been granted the right to apply for a license to own personal weapons.
Eleven, concerning the fact that God will not allow Israel to be destroyed at the end of the age: Iran has been trying to destroy Israel for 47 years (since radical Islam took over Iran), and Iran has been unable to do it.
Twelve, during an interview that was aired by CBS NEWS on Mar. 9, 2026, the U.S. Sec. of War Pete Hegseth said:
- They (America’s troops) need a connection with their almighty God in these moments, and I’m proud of how our troops are conducting themselves, and I pray for them every day.
Thirteen, concerning the price of oil, putting America first, and energy independence in the U.S.: on Mar. 10, 2026, Pres. Trump announced that America is opening the first new U.S. oil refinery in nearly half a century in Brownsville, Texas.
War reports as they come in from the U.S. or Israel:
The U.S. calls its attacks Operation Epic Fury.
Israel calls its attacks Operation Roaring Lion.
Thurs. Day 6 (Mar. 5, 2026)
- An Iranian missile struck the Amazon data center in Bahrain (the fourth Internet data center in 3 days). Analysts believe they are trying to shut down the Internet and interfere with global banking. Banks are closing, information has been lost, Amazon is unable to deliver goods, etc.
- China instructed its largest oil refiners to suspend exports of diesel and gasoline immediately and to keep all they have for China’s domestic use. There is also concern that they will not have enough fuel for trucks to move food supplies.
- With the Strait of Hormuz closed, several Arab countries that import all their food could start running short of food in a few weeks. Because they can’t export oil, their tanks are filling up, and they may have to shut down their wells.
- The U.S. has plenty of weapons for its war with Iran, but there is concern that the U.S. may not be able to continue to send weapons to Ukraine for its war with Russia.
- Several dozen Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps(IRGC) officers have fled Beirut, Lebanon, over the past 48 hours, fearing that they will be targeted in Israeli strikes.
Fri. Day 7 (Mar. 6, 2026)
- Israel discovered and totally destroyed a secret Iranian bunker in Iran. This was a secret bunker under a building that was different from the one Khamenei was killed in.
- Trump demanded an unconditional surrender from Iran.
- The U.S. has now sunk 30 Iranian ships.
- S. Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent said tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign, and we’ll do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles, and we are substantially degrading them.
- Two synagogues in Toronto, Canada, were riddled with bullet holes.
- There have been more than 150 protests in the U.S. against U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran.
Sat. Day 8 (Mar. 7, 2026)
- With the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Arabia began re-routing their oil through a 742-mile-long pipeline called the East-West Pipeline (PETROLINE). That pipeline is now blown up. The pipeline was capable of carrying five million barrels of oil per day. Now, it can move nothing.
- Israel struck Iran’s military fuel facilities. Oil got into Iran’s sewer system, caught fire, and set several more fires.
- Iran claims the city of Tel Aviv is without electric power after Iran struck Power Plants with heavy missiles. Israel has not confirmed it.
- Iran claims the Port of Haifa burned to the ground after Iranian missiles struck the refinery in Israel. The report is unconfirmed.
- There was an explosion (cause unknown at this time) at the U.S. embassy in Oslo, Norway. [Editor’s note: 3 brothers of Iraqi descent were arrested. The explosive device damaged the entrance to the embassy’s consular section. Fortunately, no injuries.]
Sun. Day 9 (Mar. 8, 2026)
- Israel said it has killed Iran’s new top military aide just days after he was appointed.
- Iran’s Assembly of Experts announced that Mojtaba Khamenei (son of the Ayatollah Khamenei) has been selected as the country’s new supreme leader.
- Israel and the U.S. said the selection of Mojtaba Khamenei is unacceptable.
Mon. Day 10 (Mar. 9, 2026)
- Israel attacked and injured (slightly injured; leg wounds) Mojtaba Khaenei.
- Qatari officials have told the U.S. that they will expel the Hamas leadership from Doha after Hamas refused to condemn the Iranian attacks on Qatar.
- Trump said the war is ahead of schedule and it could be over soon, but there is more to come. I don’t think he was confused. I think he was saying it could be over soon if Iran would cave, but he doesn’t expect that to happen.
- The IRGC said they will decide when the war is over, not Trump (My comment: Radical Islam considers itself at war with all non-Muslims until Islam takes over the entire world. They will agree to ceasefires and not keep them, but they will not surrender.)
- Israeli jets struck 170 targets in Iran, including an IRGC command center, the Iranian facility that launches and stores drones, and the Iranian complex that develops and produces ballistic missiles.
- The United States was carrying out strikes against Iranian mine-laying vessels.
- The U.S. has intercepted messages that indicate that Iran may be activating sleeper cells outside the country.
- Trump told aides he would support killing Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei if he refuses to comply with U.S. demands, including ending Iran’s nuclear program.
- The U.S. intercepted a second ballistic missile that was fired at Turkey.
Tues. Day 11 (Mar. 10, 2026)
- Trump sent a warning to Iran: “If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far.”
- S. Sec of Defense, Pete Hegseth said today will be most intense day of strikes on Iran.

- Trump said it is quite likely that the US will use military means to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
- The UN Security Council voted 13-0 to condemn Iran for its strikes on its Gulf neighbors. Russia and China abstained.
- Hezbollah launched a barrage of missiles at northern and central Israel.
- Iran fired missiles toward the Jerusalem area. (Note: One recent report said an Iranian missile fell just a few feet from the Temple Mount.)
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
