REASONS TO BELIEVE – Scientific Facts from The Bible

Knowledge comes from finding the Answers.
But understanding what the Answers mean, is what brings Wisdom.

The Bible is not a scientific textbook in the sense of giving detailed
technical descriptions or mathematical formulas such as Albert Einstein’s
famous equation E=mc2.
.
The ancient prophets and writers of the Bible used approximations in the
language of their day to describe the things that they saw, some of these
are quite obvious and specific, while others that are alluded too are much
more subtle, yet the scientific knowledge of them is still clearly implied.
.
Well, let’s begin this voyage of Learning and Discovery …
Scientific Facts from The Bible: Bio-sciences.

Detailed Biblical Knowledge of Human Beings – Man from Dust.

Scientists have confirmed that every element in humans can be found
in the soil. The 60 elements that are found in the human body are all
found in the earths crust … just as the Bible says.

Written some 3,500 years ago, we read in (Genesis 2:7)
Then the Lord God formed a man from the DUST of the ground
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man
became a living being.
.
And we also we read in (Genesis 2:19)
Out of the GROUND the Lord God formed
every beast of the field and every bird of the air.
.
It’s only a recent discovery of science that we humans are made up
of about 70% water, so the human body is not only made up of dust,
(the 60 elements that are found in the earths crust), but also water,
and dust mixed with water produces clay … just as the Bible says.

And written 3,500 years ago, we read in read in (Job 10:9)
Remember, that You have made me like CLAY,
and will You turn me into dust again.

Written some 2000 years ago we read in (2nd Corinthians 4:7)
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves
are like fragile clay vessels containing this great treasure.

DNA the Genetic Blueprint of Life.

Science has only recently discovered DNA.
DNA acts like a software program, but is much more complex than anything
we’ve been able to write, we’ve discovered that DNA is a digital code;
a 3 out of 4, error-correcting encryption system, and even with the aid of
computers we’re still in the process of trying to decode it.

The DNA is like a library of information, it’s the complex code system
that all life on Planet Earth uses, all species on Earth are Digitally defined,
which means that it’s just as Genesis 1 tells us …. that each species
reproduces “after its own kind.”

And written some 3,000 years ago, the DNA Genetic Blueprint is alluded
to in the book of Psalms, when a new cell is made the DNA unravels into
two and a new segment is then woven in place.

(Psalm 139:13-15-16)
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s
womb. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the
secret place, when I was WOVEN together in the dark of the womb.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed, and in Your book
all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned,
when as yet there were none of them.

The knowledge of DNA and Complex Bio-mechanics is certainly
implied in (Job 38:36)
Who has put wisdom in the inward parts?
or who has given understanding to the heart?

And science has only just recently discovered that the human heart,
in addition to its other functions, actually possesses a heart-brain,
which is composed of about 40,000 neurons that can sense, feel, learn
and remember. The heart brain sends messages to the head brain about
how the body feels and more, such as our intuition or our gut feelings.

Epi-Genetics can have an effect up to the fourth generation.

Science has recently discovered tiny methyl tags, comprised of a carbon
atom with attendant hydrogen atoms, which attach to the DNA as a result
of ones experiences and choices, and can cause significant changes
without changing the under-lying DNA.

For example, diet, nurturing, or smoking. These various behaviors and
health conditions can be inherited by their children, grandchildren and
great grandchildren. However many of these negative health effects
appear to be totally re-settable by just making better life style choices.

Written 3,500 years ago the Bible also speaks of this recent scientific
discovery of Epi-Genetics in (Numbers 14:18 and in Exodus 20:6)
The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and
rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes
the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation,
but showing love to a thousand generations of those that love him and
keep his commandments.

Bio-photons.

Are an elementary particle, or quantum of light emitted from a biological
system. Science has only recently discovered that all living cells of plants,
animals & human beings emit Bio-photons, along with the use of chemicals
the cells and DNA use these Bio-photons to communicate information in a
complex language. It seems to be the mechanism behind all biochemical
cell-to-cell communication and reactions within all living organisms.

Written thousands of years ago, the Bible also alludes to this
recent scientific discovery of Bio-photons.

For example in (1st John 1:5), it tells us that “God is Light”,
and in (John 4:24) also tells us that “God is spirit”,
and in (James 1:17), God is called, “the Father of Lights”,

and in (John 1:4) we are told that :
“in him was life, and that life was the light of mankind”,
and in (Ephesians 4:6) it tells us that there is :
“One God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all”.
.
(Genesis 2:7) tells us that God formed man from dust and we are
told that when we die in (Ecclesiastes 12:7) And the dust returns
to the earth as it was, and the Spirit returns to God who gave it.

The Laminin Cross Molecule

Jesus Christ the Messiah, has only one main symbol, and that’s the Cross.
Science has only recently discovered Laminin, it’s a cell adhesion protein
molecule that holds the body together, inside every cell in our body, there
is a cell adhesion molecule which is coincidentally, in the shape of a Cross.

(Colossians 1:16-17)
For by Him (Jesus) all things were created that are in heaven and that
are on earth, visible and invisible, … and in Him all things hold together.
