The Federal budget crisis…
Our country is distrubed as we enter the weekend with no progress by our elected representives on the debt limit. Note:
- It is a sad day when our representives are at odds over how to handle debt; not surplus. Let this be a lesson to you to not allow debt to drive your decisions and life.
- However, if you are a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven don’t forget that your hope and security is not in Washington. Remember, men’s kingdoms rise and fall but the people of God are never forsaken and will always come through every trial.
- Bottom line, practice Isaiah 26:3 – “God keeps in perfect peace those whose minds stay focused on Him.”
- Remember, the real news is in the Bible; not on television; keep your eyes glued to the Bible.
