What a Chapter…..
Do you agree with me that Philippians chapter 4 is one of the most beautiful chapters in the whole of the bible? It is crammed full of truths and of ways to live our life.
My devotional this morning took me to verse 6, and talked about not worrying.But there were lots of other verses that jumped out at me......
Verse 13 tells me I can do anything, not in my own strength but in the strength of Jesus. I can do anything in the strength of the Living God, Who dwells in me.
Verse 4 tells me to rejoice always, always have a joy in knowing what we have in the Lord.
Verse 8 tells me to keep my mind on good things, not to always thinking about negative issues. Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure.....need I go on! Keep your mind positive and you'll be positive. We are told elsewhere in The Word that as we think in our heart so we are.
Verse 5 talks of the example I need to be to other men, again not in my strength but in the Lord's strength.
And then I was lead to Col 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts....." but I think that can wait for another blog....time to go.....
