WHO AM I THAT I SHOULD GO

[Moses is meeting with The Lord God Almighty, the creator of all things! When God speaks, all that He says comes to pass; now He tells Moses that He is sending him to do His work. Moses was so sure that this was beyond his power, and all the means that he possessed, and he is astonished that even God himself should appoint him to this work!] “So now, go. I AM SENDING YOU to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “WHO AM I THAT I SHOULD GO to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exo. 3:10-11) [Just imagine you or I standing in the presence of our Abba Father; Face-to face, Wow, how could we argue with our Creator about what He is asking us to do?] “Then the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied. The LORD said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. “This,” said the LORD, “is so that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers–the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob–HAS APPEARED TO YOU.” (Exo. 4:2,3,5) [Can’t he who created the mouth, all organs of speech, and has given us the gift of speech also, cannot he give anointed words to speak? God can take away those gifts and restore them again. Do not aggravate him: He who created the eye, the ear, and the mouth, has also made the blind, the deaf, and the dumb!] “Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? IS IT NOT I, THE LORD? (Exo. 4:10-11) [God’s designs are the issues of infinite wisdom, and THEREFORE THEY ARE ALL RIGHT; God’s resources are the most appropriate, because they are the choice of an infinite knowledge THAT CANNOT ERROR; we can very safely credit the goodness of the His design, founded in infinite wisdom; we can rely on the divine accomplishment of the end, because the means are chosen and applied by infinite knowledge and skill.] “…the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! HOW UNSEARCHABLE HIS JUDGMENTS, AND HIS PATHS BEYOND TRACING OUT!” (Rom. 11:20, 33) [Oh, let of have a willingness TO DO WHATEVER our Abba Father calls us to do!]

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that THE GIFTS AND CALLING OF GOD ARE WITHOUT REPENTANCE!
