WHY ASK WHY ?

Matthew 5:11 ‘ Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake”.

Persecution and temptations are what a child of God must experience in his or her spiritual life. If you are truly serving God and live a Christlike life, you must face persecution in one way or the other. It comes in different forms, when you are facing persecution in your neighborhood , place of work , place of worship , place of study , it could be from your family members either from husband, wife , parent or siblings. You must maintain your holiness. Some of you cannot stand the heat , you don’t need to ask God why are you facing all these challenges ? To you, God is doing nothing about your situations. But little did you know that you are passing through the period of test. Please when your faith is put to trial , never ask God why all these are happening to you, He allowed some certain things to befall us as a Christian. Remember the story of Job.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There is always a blessing attached to every temptation that you overcome. God will not allow His children to face any temptation and persecution they cannot overcome.
For example ; when a teacher give his students test to write, while they are busy writing, the teacher will be calm and be quiet watching until they have exhaust the time given to them to write the test. At the end of the test, the teacher will collect their answer scripts and mark. The students shall be awarded marks according to their performers. So it is with God, when you are passing through some challenges of life as a Christian and it seems God is doing nothing about it , I tell you God is aware of it. He will do something at the end , He want to see your reaction towards whatever you are passing through.
Don’t ask Him questions why is it you ? Hold on to your faith and wait for His manifestation upon your life.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Good thing is coming, let’s not be weary or be discourage. We shall surely get to our stopping point successfully in Jesus name.
