“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.”
―Matthew 5:37
My dear VP Grands,
Be someone of few words.
And when you do speak, speak truthfully, clearly, and simply.
And remember, when making promises: The question is not “Can you?” the question is: “Did you say you would.” If you said you’d do something, then trying is not enough. Either fulfill your promise or die trying.
Thus, my admonition about being someone of few words. There are few things worth dying for!
Love always, Papa (And that’s a promise I will keep!)
