Joshua and Solomon didn’t have to understand modern astronomy in order for God to be true. God understood astronomy just fine but it only took 4000 years for man to fully grasp what God said to Job. Mortal man is limited in intelligence whereas God is not limited. Mankind is limited in how he reasons but in the end the increase of knowledge comes back to what God’s says is true over mankind’s theories and assumptions.
