I know it’s meant to be a parody, but I hear the expression all the time. May the Lord bless you. What in the world does that mean? Like we have some kind of control over that for others except for perhaps prayer that the person Walks With God? God is going to bless those who walk with him. We don’t control God and make him bless people who don’t deserve it. None of us deserve to be blessed because of our own righteousness but when we repent then God opens up the heavens and heals us. May the Lord bless is a strange saying.
