Luke 22:42The Oneness crowd thinks Jesus literally said, “myself, if i be willing, let me remove this cup from my own hands. Not by my will, but… yes, by my will.” -makes no sense.
I and my Father are one.
John 10:30The word here in greek is “esmen”. It’s plural. Jesus literally says, “i and my father, WE are one.” Showing their distinction.
“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto HIM that sitteth upon the throne, AND unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
Revelation 5:13There’s more than one on the throne.

We are made of dust, and when we die to dust we shall return. We have the breath of life in us and that makes us a living soul. We don’t have a soul, we ARE a soul.
The breath (spirit) is what gives us life and makes us a soul, at least while we are alive. When we die, the breath leaves us (because we no longer breathe) and we are no longer a living soul, then our body decomposes and rots since we are dead.

God is one in person and three in being. The father, the son and the holy spirit have three separate distinct roles to play. John 1 verse 1: ‘In the beginning was the one who was called the word. The word was with God and was truly God’. John 1 verse 14: ‘the word became a human being and lived here with us’. The bible makes clear that jesus is God, however the father and son are two separate elements that make up the one. The holy spirit dwells among people who have faith in the lord. The holy spirit is the third element of our lord. Encourage others to read the bible. However, remember that it is by the power of the holy spirit that the bible speaks to you and teaches you.

In this article I’m going to discuss the Historical development of Trinity and two of Biblical evidences in the Old Testament. Trinity simple means, the united Godship of three divine persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are self-existent, co-eternal, and co-powerful. The usage “person” is to distinct the persons of Divine being or God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It was derived from the Greek word “Trias” and Latin “Trinitas” which means three-person in unity.Historical Development
Historically; the doctrine of “Trinity” is one of the early Christian Creeds that gradually made by the Church councils. First; in 325 A.D. the Council of Nicaea declared that Jesus is Christ is eternal; and have the same essence as God the Father, while distinct in personhood. Second; the council of Constantinople in 381 A.D. declared that Jesus is fully human, full divinity of the Holy Spirit, and affirmed the Nicaea decision. Third; the council of Ephesus 431 A.D. declared that Jesus is fully human and fully God in one person. Fourth; the Council of Chalcedon 451 A.D. in declared in that human and human nature of Jesus is being united in one person.
The gradual consensus of church councils that became a creed is finally formulated as “Trinity” by Athanasian Creed. These are four major early Christian creeds. First the Apostles Creed. Second; the Nicene Creed 325 A.D. Third; the Chalcedon in 451. Fourth; Athanasian Creed, “We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the Persons; nor dividing the substance. (Dennis J. Mock) The gradual development of early Christian Creed which is finally formulated in the late fourth century A.D. will lead to suspicions of its theological accuracy.
Biblical Evidence of the United Godship of Three Divine Person.
Exegetical consistency is one the main reasons why “Trinity” is the accurate theological description of God, despite the diverse theological emphasis on the person and nature of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in the New Testament. For example; neither Old Testament prophets, nor rabbinic literature teaches “Trinity”, but their encounter with these divine persons is the strongest biblical evidence in the Old Testament, that there are three distinct divine persons who revealed themselves in the Bible as One True God.
Psalm 110: “The Lord (Yahweh Elohim) Said to my Lord (Adonai)”
The first Biblical evidence of existent of united the Godship of Three divine persons is in Psalm 110. It’s very peculiar that King David saw the conversation between two divine persons whom he called Lord. The first Lord in Hebrew, is Yahweh Elohim and the second Lord in Hebrew is Adonai.
In the New Testament Jesus claimed that he was seen by King David and called Lord before he became man while having a conversation with Yahweh Elohim. This is what is written in Matthew 22:41-46, “41While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42“What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied. 43He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, 44” The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’[e] 45If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” 46No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. Therefore; it’s crystal clear that Jesus emphasizes his distinct pre-existent (This is exegetically consistent with John 1:1-2) and divine nature of which equals with the Father. (Ref: Phil. 2:5 and Col. 2:9)
Surprisingly, even though the Jews perceived that Jesus is claiming to be God and believed in him, like Nicodemus and other Pharisees but are afraid to show it publicly because of fear of Jewish authorities, some of them still rejected him. This is what the Gospel of John 10:33 says, “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
Perhaps one of the greatest misunderstanding of other sects today is the common belief that Jesus never claimed to be God. While in the New Testament Documents confirmed it, both the enemies and disciples understood that Jesus is claiming to be God. The only difference is their understanding of God.The “Our” and “Us” in Genesis.
The second Biblical evidence of existent of the united Godship of Three divine persons are in Genes 1:26-27 and Genesis 3:22.
Many Bible scholars argue that the word “let us” created man in “Our” image likeness is signal act of God’s creation as he is addressing the host of angels. However; in Genesis we can read the immediate context of “image and likeness” that man is created in the image and likeness of God, not of angles. Now, the question is whom God is talking in these verses that possess the power to create? If it’s angels, then there is no passage in the Bible that they created something. But if we read the entire bible we can see these amazing the truths that God is spoken to other divine persons who have the same power as him.
In Job 33:4 the Holy Spirit the might God made man. In Hebrews 1:8-10 and John 1:3, the Son created the heavens and the earth and Father Genesis 1:26-27. Therefore it’s very clear from the biblical perspective that the Bible teaches the united Godship of three divine persons. -
So Jesus said to Himself “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased,” and then descended on himself in the form of a dove?

It was not created by no one, it eternally exist, it’s all over the Bible, even at the beginning the word Elohim it’s plural.

If God was only one person in one being Jesus could not have happened. If God could go into the world through Jesus but was still one person, one being then why did he get baptized? Why did he talk to himself in the garden of gethsemane? Why did he call God “my God”? How could he forsake himself on the cross? How could he raise himself from the dead? All parts of the trinity were present at the baptism as well. Many times Paul, Peter and John refer to the trinity (though they never called it that). I understand people can’t understand the trinity but that doesn’t make it false. It has been in Christian doctrine way before Catholicism came into the picture

In scripture we find God the Father, God the son, but it never says God the Holy Spirit.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Forgive me if I did not make myself clear. I am not trying to put hole in your trinitarian doctrine. I’m not a novice in the Word of God, I have studied the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Books of Enoch and other lost books. These scripture you are giving me, I already know. You’re wrong because your timeline is off – the early Church Fathers (Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus) all taught Trinitarian doctrine before the Church then canonized scripture in the 4th century. And those bishops who through the Holy Spirit determined the canon were Trinitarian as well. So it is illogical to conclude the Scripture they produced would undermine that doctrine.

Although you don’t find the term “Holy Trinity” in the Bible, you definitely see the notions. For instance, Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus tells the disciples to baptize (more disciples) in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, yet all throughout the Bible we see confirmed that there is only one God thus making this a trinity effect. I would love to study the Bible with you if you’re interested. Also, I’m not Catholic.

I like the verses in Matthew 27:46 where it says “about the ninth hour Jesus cries with a loud voice…that is, “My Self, My Self, why have I forsaken Myself?”
You know, when God the Father, who cannot be in the presence of sin, had to leave Jesus(who is really Father God) because Jesus, the Son of God, took upon Himself the sins of the world…so God left Himself on the cross…yet He didnt really leave, because Jesus was still there and Jesus is the Father…or in John 16 where Jesus says He must go to Himself, who sent Himself and that it is expedient for Him to go to Himself so that once He is gone, He can send Himself as the Holy Spirit so that the Holy Spirit or Jesus can come back and guide untruth and glorify Jesus (Itself). Then it goes on to say that when we pray to the Father(Jesus) in Jesus(the Father’s) name, Jesus(the Father) will pray to the Father(really Jesus) for us because we loved Jesus(the Father) and believed that Jesus(the Father) came from the Father(Jesus) and came to the world and Jesus(the Father) must now go back to the Father(really Jesus/Hinself) -
