Do all believers have the Holy Spirit? Or does that come later? I have an answer for this question. Just curious what you think.

All believers have the Holy Spirit the minute they become a born again believer!

When you become a born-again Christian the Holy Spirit will dwell in us but you don’t have to speak in tongues to ‘proof’ that you are born-again and is a child of God.

We don’t become born-again on our own. The Holy Spirit transforms us, then we become believers and seekers.

All believers receive the Holy Spirt of regeneration upon their open confession that Jesus Christ is Lord. However, the baptizing of fire of the Spirit come later in the believers life,

Sanctified, purified and Justified allows the Holy Spirit to flow through you commonly known as the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
When you receive fullness of salvation in Sanctification, Purification and Justification, you won’t need a sign, you will witness the Holy Spirit moving in your life and those around you and you wouldn’t need to ask the question.
You don’t see the workings of the Holy Spirit until God sees one is ready to surrender 100% to Him having no thoughts of tomorrow and consistent in the will and purpose of God.
Those who require are sign as evidence of the Holy Spirit rely on and appeal to self validation in motivational and emotional self determination as Christ wasn’t enough for them, they require more.
Adam and Eve were wanted more and deceived themselves, so for many, original sin is still present in them. -
The Holy Spirit regenerates one, removing their heart of stone and giving them a heart of flesh and causing them to walk in his statutes.
The moment a person has faith in Jesus Christ, because the Holy Spirit is already changed their heart, they have the Holy Spirit and dwelling them.
I would agree with the other person who made the important distinction that being filled with the Spirit is not the same as being indwelled with the Holy Spirit. That said, there are different people who attribute different definitions to the state of being filled with the Holy Spirit. So you have to be careful how you define that.
One example is that some people wrongly think that it is merely speaking in tongues, or prophesying… And that those are the only evidences of being filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s a very shallow and didn’t correct view of the filling of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the seal of your justification. How would it be possible to “have” him later?

The New Testament teaches that the reception of the Holy Spirit is something that takes place immediately upon believing in Christ as Savior. There is no need to wait or plead for the Holy Spirit. All those who believe in Jesus instantaneously receive the Holy Spirit. This the Scripture makes clear.

The Holy Spirit is a gift to all who believe. -

It can come at the moment you believe or at a later time. There are 3 different scenarios in Acts.

Yes, they are MARK and SEALED!!! “And you were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were MARKED in him with a SEAL, the promise Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are Gods possession– to the prsise of his glory” (ephesian 1:13-14); ” Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were SEALED for the day of redemption” ( eph 4:30)

Yes. The Holy Spirit comes into your soul as you come into the covenant of belief. Being a believer means you have the spirit already within you.

If you have accepted the son of the Living God you also receive the Holy Spirit, because the father and the Holy Spirit are one in the same. Yes. God gives us the Holy Spirit at the moment of our spiritual rebirth, depending on your denomination, either sinner prayer or baptism. The Holy Spirit imputes Christ righteousness in you. There is an infilling. But when you are baptised in the Holy Spirit, it is an outpouring of power and enabling of His gifts. So that is different.
I was watching a roman catholic church sermon, it’s like a torchlight. The Holy Spirit is like the battery in the torchlight, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is like the switch being switched on.

While all believers have the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) not every believer is filled or empowered by the Holy Spirit. Some charismatics will use the term baptized by the Holy Spirit to describe the spiritual gifts, but 1 Cor. 12:12 states that spirit baptism is what occurs when you become a Christian. It is the initiatory act that brings you into the corporate body. The filling of the Spirit is done through sanctification, and not living in the flesh. Another point that is often confused; the sign of a Spirit filled life is not the charismatic gifts but the works of the Spirit in Gal. 5:22-23. Notice the Corinthian church was exhibiting all kinds of charismatic gifts but yet they were living in the flesh. Paul chastised them and said they were acting like babies so they needed to be fed milk instead of solid food.

These are two different things ok… The Holy Ghost just don’t come on you like that except through the laying on of hands by those having the right priesthood power and authority of God -

doesn’t matter what anyone thinks. The Bible says we’re saved when we believe on Christ and it’s the Holy Spirit who saves us. Jesus made that clear in John 3. Paul made it clear that He is the seal and the guarantee. Yes, He comes to indwell you immediately
