God is the Prime Mover (Unmoved Mover), and no event, thought, or decision ever arises from a void. A dark place where even God has no reach. A vacuum devoid of any reasons or factors which are deterministic. Ultimately all must be traced back to the Creator.
We did not create ourselves.
We are nothing but dominoes lined up in intricate rows, and the finger that sets us falling in a predetermined order is not ours.
Why couldn’t he sovereignly will it that the single molecule be able to “run around loose” according to a set of physical laws?
As an Armenian myself I love this statement.
We too believe God is completely sovereign over all, meaning He rules everything exactly according to His will.
I am honestly perplexed by this post.
Because it seems to imply that even the molecules lumped together forming the human who murders and rapes innocent children is directly controlled by God?
It also makes me wonder if God has determined these types of horrible things then determines that only some of those determined events be thwarted according to His determinations?
God will never ran out of ways to call us back to Him, or in this case, will never ran out of ways to hold molecules together. However, humanity isnt a molecule but beings with free will. As much as God will always have ways to call us back to him, we as creatures having free will, will never lose ways on how to resist the call. This will continue to exist as long as free will exists but this does not affect God’s omnipotence at all or his ability to fulfill his promises.
Why would there be a single molecule running around loose from God’s sovereignty? A molecule has no mind, no free will to exert, and no choice between heaven or hell.
Anything God says in his word will come to pass, but there is a problem with this statement. This statement does not take an account that God gave man dominion in the Earth and did nothing in the Earth without making a covenant with man. Nothing God says will return unto him void and that includes whatever God has placed in man’s dominion.
If he made it to be chaotic and out of control and he just left it alone, didn’t he choose that sovereignly too? I mean if he’s sovereign, let him actually make his own decisions about how the molecules function.
