Can some one who understands the belief that Jesus is the son of God and not God provide me with two scriptures that support the belief and tell me how they do? I can find the scriptures but not the explanations.

Many others have the title Son of G-d. Including king David, ephriam, Moses, And israel. Exodus 4:22.
The master Yeshua said why call me good? There’s non good but G-d.

You should look into Chinese Astronomy record. They have three interesting account related to Christ Birth, Death and Resurrection. Since China has no connection to Israel and yet they are able to record what they see. Two interesting part in the death stated “All sin is in one man” and “man from heaven died”. You may find it easier to understand God if you think of God as being an institution with one supreme leader, the father.

There appears to be some confusion: “son of God and not God “?
The Godhead is a Triunity of three persons, co-eternal and co-equal.
They are One God, yet three persons.The Son, alone, became flesh and dwelt among us. He alone became the God-Man. 100% God, 100% Man.
He and the Father are “One.”
The Son is not the Father, but the Son is God.
Takes a lot of study; there’s no quick chapter and verse to run to. The Bible is not an encyclopedia.

The book of John talks about this. Jesus is God in the flesh. Son doesn’t mean what it means for humans.. He is begotten of God/From God/of God. He IS God, but not in his full form. He is Immanuel God is with us.. He is God as a man. But he is much more than a man because he is God.
