The Holy Spirit will reach those that hear His truth. So we just have to give an account of His truth that lives in us.

Nothing to it, just share your views upon being ASKED, and let them take or leave it.
Just don’t do it without compassion.

The Bible says to listen. The very act of listening shows God’s love. He will lead u in the next step.

Respect is key. You will end up being alone and with Noone willing to listen to you because of the level of disrespect you show. Many people I grew up with and people I maintain a close friendship with aren’t Christians. But I teach them biblical principles with every conversation.

Be more willing to listen than you are to talk. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, but make it known that you’re questions are sincere. ALSO (in my limited experience), I also absolutely acknowledge that Christianity has it’s dark parts of history. I’m not afraid to concede that and I ask that Christ not be judged based on the dark parts that (in many cases) were or are abuses of the faith. Being able and willing to respond with “I honestly don’t know, that’s a good question that I’ve even been asking over the years” actually earns a lot of respect. JMHO.

I just read the comment about “nothing to it” and I respectfully disagree. There are many brothers and sisters who take it personally when someone rejects God and/or His principles. They get passionate about it and some “turn red”. I have a brother (use that term loosely for different reasons) that would raise his voice to non-believers and end up yelling. Some believers need to be restrained since they can honestly got lost in their passion and do more damage than good. Hope that makes sense.

Start by sanctifying Jesus as Lord. Don’t pretend to be neutral and don’t believe they are either. Bring the truth in gentleness and love.

Be like Master Jesus. Walk circumspectly around them (Ephesians 5:15-16). Have mercy on them in your dealings with them. Pray for them. Continue doing righteousness in their presence as you also do out of their presence. Answer any questions they pose about your hope of Resurrection to perfection in Christ Jesus your Master. Thanks for the question. It made me consider it straightforwardly.

Its like I love my friend and want to take him to restraunt, but I am the one who need to pay for both. The more I love the more I would pay. Likewise, Jesus did the most for us, by paying His life for us to take us to the street of gold.

By bringing them back to the beginning! I had a person over here who claimed that they were an atheist and yet made a big deal about God, which didn’t make sense in the first place. Anyway, their argument was, ‘where did God come from’? My response to that person was, God would not be God if He had a beginning!

Treat them like anyone else. When you see them in need fill that need without a requirement of prosthelatizing. They will talk with you when they are ready. Treat them like Jesus did, as people/ as God breathed.

I say, get the good things and tell why bad things are bad. This would help you be strong in faith and to stand at the right foundation.
And lets do what Jesus would do.

I find it helpful to get a basic background of a person’s world view so I can dialogue with them on a level they understand

Listen. Understand their point of view.
Where needed, and proded insert explanation of your forward looking hope within.
When asked why this hope, explain your faith.
Do it with love. -

Find out what they actually believe, do some research, specifically ask them why they put their trust in their faith, openly allow them to express what they believe, give what you believe, ask why they trust in it so much, express why you trust in yours, and continue a process of dialogue. Also, if you’re really serious, buy books on the subject, such as Jesus and Mohammed, or 10 Objections to Christianity, Evidence that Demands a Verdict, etc.

All of those world views except agnosticism make positive claims to knowledge, which means they have to have reasons why they believe what they believe. We, then, can critique their reasons and offer our own positive reasons for Christianity. Aside from that, we love them like we’re called to love everyone.

Always out of respect, emphasizing similarities and not differences, but staying firm with the basics of our faith. Also always having an answer and that answer cannot just be because I have faith. there are reasons for our faith. Let’s give the reasons.
