If the atonement isn’t limited, then unless you’re a universalist, it follows that grace isn’t irresistible.

I don’t understand how you can claim to be a Calvinist if you only believe in 3 of the 5 points. You lose systematic creditability to say God decrees you will be His but that He will not ensure you TO BE His by His own power due to His election/predestination.

Man is totally depraved, but has conscience and can choose right sometimes having been made in the image of God. Our soul sometimes seeks good but our flesh craves wickedness.
God elects saints based on the knowledge they will accept his effectual call of the Holy Spirit. God calls us because he knows we will respond. Same reason he sent Jonah to a generation of Nineveh to repent and usually didn’t in most generations.
Plenty of verses prove that it’s available to all but won’t be received by all.
God’s grace FEELS irresistible because God calls us knowing we are ready to receive. However, some have felt God tugging at them for days, weeks, months and sometimes years before finally repenting. God relentlessly pursues those who will turn to Him. He leaves the 99 to seek out and save the one sheep that is lost. Irresistible Grace and Limited Atonement are both clearly unBiblical and like someone said do go together, whether true or false. If it’s true that grace is irresistible, that makes us robots, puppets of God with no free will, and God is making us, forcing us to come to Him, it’s based on unconditional election too, which is also basically false, but predestination is clearly correct because God knew our destiny having made us. So, election had to be on the condition of foreknowledge, foreknowledge we would choose him back.
Yes, we are all preserved who have truly been born again.
The right point between Arminian and Calvinist is halfway, 2 and half point Calvinist. He chooses us by creating us and calling us knowing we will choose him back.
Preservation of saints is correct, total depravity is correct but lacks a full understanding of the situation, and election must be conditional, not unconditional. Limited Atonement and Irresistible Grace are completely incorrect Biblically.
If you believe in the sovereignty of God, you will believe that everything was planned and laid out even before we were created. Why would Jesus pay for the sins of those who aren’t in the book of life. It all boils down to believing that God had foreknowledge of everything because He is beyond time.

Sovereignty doesn’t mean he can’t allow free will. If he’s sovereign then he can choose to make free will. Saying free will can’t exist under God’s sovereignty puts God in a box and doctrinally robs Him of sovereignty, all in the vain efforts to hold to faulty logic.
Also, predestination and sovereignty is necessary even with free will, because God is omnipotent and omniscient. God knows whether you will come to Him, whether you will answer His call. He doesn’t bother calling those who ultimately reject. So, if God made you with free will to accept or reject Him, he did do knowing what you would choose, so therefore free will and election go hand in hand. He didn’t determine what you would choose by forcing you, but by foreknowledge of knowing whether you would choose and creating you so you can come into His kingdom.
Since Jesus accomplished redemption, if the atonement is not limited, how then are you not a universalist?
In eternity past, for His plans and purposes and glory, God chose not to condemn the entire human race, but to deal with sin and redeem some while letting others justly experience justice and condemnation.

The question that I have about election is. If God creates some for wrath and others for election. Then His righteous judgement couldn’t be righteous-could it. Because then those created for wrath were done so by God and are innocent yet will be judged by Him according to this belief. How is He then righteous and then condemn someone when He himself is to blame?
My second question is, if election and the doctrine of election is truth then babies who have been created for wrath would then be found in hell? How would a loving God who showed His total love through sacrifice condemn babies born to wrath to hell?

A person not saved does not commit all sins possible and to the greatest extent. A majority have the capacity to kill but they dont etc.
Man is therefore not totally depraved. He is depraved but not totally.
My third question is. If Jesus died on the cross with the doctrine of elections understanding then effectively does this not mean that His blood was divided? As it is only for the elect?

No one chooses to be called. They choose to follow. If Jesus says Follow Me and they get up and follow that way, then at some point they made a decision to get up and follow. It’s really simple and your bad doctrine from indocrination has taught you to make it really complicated. We can’t come unless we’re called. We won’t come until we’ve chosen to accept the call and follow the command imperatives.
The commands have warnings if you choose poorly. Who the heck is God warning? You’re not asking the right questions of the text to get out the meaning. Who is God warning if they don’t believe? The non elect? They can’t come under 5 point theology. There’s no point in ever warning them. God has locked them into hopelessness under your beliefs. So, who is He warning? The elect? Can’t be. Irresistible Grace is true according to you, so they can’t reject. Under 5 point Calvinism, he’s warning no one, because the warnings are useless gibberish. It’s only if people could get called and still have the potential choice to reject that this could apply to.
Let’s go back even further. Who is God commanding to receive, believe, repent and confess belief? The elect?They were supposedly going to do all that anyway. Let them read the Gospels and the Great Commission and they don’t need any verses about actually being commanded to believe, receive, confess, and repent. They would just automatically do it being God’s super special chosen teacher’s pets. The non elect certainly don’t need the commands either having been hopelessly locked into God’s damnation from birth like a cruel person half starving animals in puppy mill cages and only letting a few go and the rest die and rot in their eternity. What a mighty God you are preaching to people. NOT! Sarcasm alert. That’s not the character of the God of the Bible and it’s not in line with Scripture at all.
Also, the argument about the prophets is invalid. God starts changing our desires the more we are with Him but we slow that process when we sin and delay our blessings and fulfillment. God didn’t force them to give the word of the Lord like puppets. God raised them into mighty warriors of faith but initially they had to decide to follow God and then they were used.
Look at the convincing that Abraham, Sarah, Zachariah or Joseph needed. Look at all the miraculous coaxing Gideon needed. They made the decision to follow and THEN God used them supernaturally. He didn’t make them robotic puppets supernaturally. They wrote the messages of the Lord because they were already following. Look at Jonah. God ONLY sent a messenger to that generation to repent, not the generation before or after. He knew THEY would repent. He sought them because they would seek Him back. Furthermore, Jonah was tortured in the belly of the whale three days and three nights until he CHOSE to repent and call upon God. God spent three days wearing Jonah down in the stomach lining and juices of a sea creature, until Jonah chose to obey God. This was a good prophet and obedient Hebrew from childhood. But God told Him to do this and he ran. God used a bad experience to call Jonah and Jonah chose to follow. God isn’t going after us unless He knows we will choose Him back. God will even go to great lengths to meet us where we are and in the way we need to be woken up to see it God’s way, but we still choose. He goes to great lengths to get us to choose to follow, but it’s Him guiding us all the way.
Jesus calls us out to walk on the windswept water but we have to make the first step off the boat. He has to help us the rest of the way because we would drown without Him, but we STILL CHOSE to take the first step. Also, God wouldn’t have called anyone to write Scripture if they were going to reject. He calls those He knows will choose to follow. My sheep hear my voice.
You need to have childlike faith in God, but not childlike faith in man-made doctrinal statements. Trust God like a child, and investigate doctrine like a detective. Don’t put blind faith in the interpretations of men. Start asking the RIGHT questions…
