What they call the rapture and the second coming are one in the same event. They both happened at the sound of the 7th AKA last AKA Trump of God.

No the Rapture takes place when God tells Jesus it is time to go get your bride the church. This takes place just before the Tribulation. The the second coming of Jesus will take place right after the Tribulation, when Jesus sits up His 1,000 year reign here on earth. Don’t let anyone tell you anything different

There are some that incorrectly believe they are separate events. But if you read 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, it’s very clear that the rapture is part of the second coming.

If the “Rapture” is separate from the Second Coming, then Jesus comes back twice. Unfortunately, Scripture supports no such thing. Why, after all, should Christians living in the End Times be spared the martyrdom that befell all of Jesus disciples but John, and so many thousands of the original members of the Church? No… the one and ONLY time He comes back to the earth and gathers His elect, He does so AFTER the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31), rendering a “Pre-Trib Rapture” nothing more than a hopeful but groundless grasp at pure fantasy. The one and ONLY time Jesus returns, He does not go back to Heaven making a Third Coming necessary. Scripture tells us in no uncertain terms, that “his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives” (Zechariah 14:3-4). He will be here to establish the 1,000 year reign of the Kingdom of God on the earth.

What is everyone take on Matthew 24:29-31?
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it’s light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. -

Definitely 2 events Rapture is where the saints are caught up to meet him in the clouds, but the 2nd coming is when Jesus returns with the saints and Jesus plants his feet on Mount Olives.

The term ‘rapture’ does not appear in the Bible. It is word that’s been assigned to an event which happens in Luke 17:22-37. Jesus is explaining to His disciples that, as happened on two previous occasions, that everyone will be eating, drinking, working, and living as usual until the day Jesus is revealed to everyone on earth. When this happens it is pointless to leave your rooftop or field to retrieve things you might own. The Greek says Jesus will receive near and take unto Himself those who belong to Him and will send forth/put away those who don’t. The disciples asked Him where this would happen and Jesus said (from the Greek) His utterance would take place where the eagles convene (the lower heavens where birds fly).
This references the rapture, or the catching up/catching away of the church because Jesus receives unto Himself those who belong to Him, the church, and leaves on earth those who do not. The church is called up to the place where eagles fly by the utterance of Christ which reveals Him to the earth. The rapture will take place just prior to the rise of the man who will become the Antichrist. He will make a covenant with Israel which will usher in the Tribulation (3.5 years) and the Great Tribulation (3.5 years). Sometime, immediately after this 7 year period during which God will deal with the nation of Israel, Jesus will return to earth to throw Satan into an abyss where he will remain bound for 1,000 years while those beheaded during the Tribulation will reign with Jesus.
Jesus’ second coming is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:3. You should get yourself an interlinear Bible and study for yourself. You could very possibly come to a different understanding than what I’ve presented here. There are many many Christians who agree with me, but there also many who don’t.

I believe it is and refers to our individual salvation, my spirit was raptured when he saved me or raised me from the dead and I see it as his returning for me.
