How many of you have sprinkled a little holy water around your home?

“They found that 86 percent of water samples from holy sources contain fecal matter, and every milliliter of holy water contained up to 62 million bacteria, none of it safe to drink. Not surprisingly, the busier the church, the more bacteria it had in its font from people’s hands.”

Austrian researchers have discovered that church fonts contain very high levels of bacteria and a majority of water samples from holy sources contain fecal matter.

That would be interesting if holy water were actually scriptural.

Who makes water holy? How do they make it holy. Is there a recipe to making it holy? Is it free or cost money? No such thing as holy water!

This is just proves how dum human beings can be. Ava Reyes – if you were thinking this is an argument against Christianity – I think you might want to “try again” – there is nothing in the Bible at all about “holy water” in the sense of how Roman Catholicism does this. I would actually argue that it is (a) nonsense – i.e. there are certainly no healing powers in holy water, (b) the Roman church is guilty if lying and distortion for making gullible people give them money for “nothing in return”.

What a waste of time girl, you trip me out. If only you’d put that much time and effort into believing what the bible says is true.
It definitely is frustrating trying to convince someone of what one beleives though… I can relate, I can relate.

Sadly Ava I think your purpose in participating in this group may be to mock Christians and quite possibly stir up dissension among brothers and sisters in Christ. James tells us who this kind of person that is; James 4: 11 ” Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? “
