    Sytiac was an early translation of the Greek New Testament. In the same way the Septuagint was for the Hebrew old Testament

    I began reading to see if there was something that interested me but before I got very far, the ce and the bce designations were used to denote dates.

    Now, I’m admitting a bias here but why would any Christian writing refer to dates that took Christ out of the explanation?

    I mean, good grief, do these people think that ce and bce use different criteria for dating? Ad and ce both mean after the birth of Christ.

    Had to stop there.
