Jesus is God and He defeated Satan on the Cross and for that Christianity will be opposed until Jesus returns to Judge mankind and throw Satan & those he has managed to mislead into the eternal fire.

He prexisted in Heaven because he is the ONE true living God. The omnipresent Spirit that fills the universe.
