Those Scriptures are good, and it’s more than that. The power of sexuality is so powerful that it can only be completely safe within the covenant of marriage.
It’s not just about the negative of what happens outside of marriage, yes there is consequences and it is a sin, but I think it’s more about the sanctity of it within marriage. It’s gods original beautiful design. And it is only 100% kept pure with in covenant. -

Good afternoon. I believe one must approach the law of God with the questions “why”. To give a verse would only answer the questions “how”.
Scripture states that sex is the only sin we could commit against our body. A man and a woman are joined in the flesh by having sex. why?
We must refer back to the covenants. A covenant must be sealed with shedding of blood. Marriage is a covenant. Hence in Deut. 22:21 virginity on the first night of marriage is vital or a woman can be stoned to death for “whoring”.
I fall short of this as well. I am thankful for my Lord Jesus Christ. No more shameand condemnation. All my debts are paid in full. On His account. Praise be His name!

The idea is that as soon as you have sex you are one in flesh with that person, see genesis. This is a bond only meant for married people. As random sex means you are one flesh with loads of different people and causes hurts, jealousy, lust, disease etc none of which is found in a healthy marriage.

Paul clearly spells out that for unmarried, single people, God desires abstinence from sex for them. If abstinence is not something they can live with, then they should seek to get married. It’s clear that sex within the context of marriage is not a sin, but outside of marriage it is sinful. -

What type of sin is sex before Marriage? Sex is designed by God for couple and its sacred. Unfortunately, the poor understanding of sex is one of the main causes of broken families around the world. For, people sex is just for fun. Strictly speaking, it’s written the Bible that sex outside marriage is immoral. “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” (Hebrew 13:4.) The very reason why we want to have premarital sex with our partners is because of lust. As a Christian this a very difficult challegne, especially in our culture today, sex is just for fun. However the bible teaches that we need to control ourselves for marriage is sacred. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.”(1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). ““Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. In reality, when you are attracted to someone, you cannot separate the love, affection and sexual attraction. Therefore; it’s much better to marry, that just doing it for fun. “To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. Now if one has committed premarital sex, there is still forgiveness. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. John 2:1-3. You need be resorted. Hope you will gain insight on this.

Maybe we are looking at God’s plan for marriage in the wrong way. You can have all the fruit in the garden, except that one tree. Premarital sex at it’s core is idolatry, since marriage is a reflection of our relationship with God. Maybe this is why so many can’t relate to God because we don’t know what a good relationship is.God first, others next, us last. Song of Solomon sings about the intimate relationship 2 people can enjoy with total surrender to each other. Why would anyone want to settle for less.

It’s called fornication. Just do a search and you’ll find dozens of scriptures. The only appropriate sexual behavior in humans is between one man and one woman United in marriage according to the Bible. All other sexual behaviors are prohibited by God for our good

Even if you didn’t believe in the Bible look at all the practical reasons for waiting. If nobody had sex outside of a heterosexual marriage there would be
1. No illegitimate children
2. Very few unwanted pregnancies or abortions
3. Very few STDs/STIs (Remember the AIDS epidemic where people were dropping like flies in certain communities? They would mostly all still be here alive and well if not for fornication)
4. Very little need for paternity tests (they would still be used to make sure missing children got back to the right families or to identify a body)
5. There would be no accusations of infidelity if nobody actually committed it.
6. There would in general be a stable home for children to grow up in with both parents present -

Nobody seems to read between the lines of this question Sex = marriage . There are NO commands to have any sort of ceremony. Just ask the father to take the daughter. Everything else is tradition.

It is a lifelong commitment. It has nothing to do with a ceremony. Fornication is promiscuity or defiling the body through sexual intercourse outside of marriage. What is marriage: a Covenant between a man and a woman to abide in love for life, a lifelong Covenant in God’s presence. So, more than not fornication.
