I’ve noticed that the Nephilim can be found in genesis 6:4 (before the great flood) and then again in Numbers 13:33 (after the great flood).
So… how did the nephilim, or the so-called giant “sons of Anak,” survive the great flood?

usually both?
And…. popcorn

They of Adams line not the fallen angels. Nephillim as highbred angels is fantasy.
Ham’s wife had the genes of the Nephilim. She beget Cush and Cush beget Nimrod – who definitely had Nephilim genes.
you have proof of angel genes? They should still exist. In Ham’s lune. Sounds like complete fantasy to me.
Likely one of the wives or all the wives were corrupt of the sons of Noah. It said that all flesh was corrupt and that Noah was perfect in his generations, so either his wife was hybrid, or his sons wives were.
Or the angels went down for round 2, but we don’t have anything necessarily to support either. All speculation
know one survived -> Anak -> Goliath 9’6″ -> James Neismith 10′ basketball court?
I’d say the answer is simple.
Noah is a typology of the people who survived the flood, and by no means the only family that survived.
He’s an example of someone who was intune with nature and saw a catastrophe coming.
Most people ridiculed him and called him a conspiracy theorist.
But he was not alone.
Second reason is that the “world flood” was only the known world at the time. There was an entire hemisphere that wasn’t flooded.
There is an interesting story in Second Temple Literature where Noah’s parents are arguing because Noah’s dad is accusing her of getting pregnant by an angel.
Michael Heiser covers this in his book Unseen Realm and also in this article in less detail.
