Are there any apologists who have a specific definition for biological kind?

If you are trying to compare the Biblical definition of “Kind” to a biological classification- you are pretty much referring to the “order” or “family” in terms of Taxonomy. Micro-evolution can explain how a dog and wolf are related. There isn’t an explanation for how a cat and a dog are related (Macro changes). The Bible refers to kinds – so we’re talking about family classifications in Biology. Clear definition? No. Just comparison.

Basically someone who believes in Darwinian Evolution (Macro evolution) believes the tree of life looks like the top example. Creationists believe the tree of life is more like an orchard of life – or the bottom example. Life was created fully formed with the seeds of their kind. The seeds of their kind contained variation for adaptive purposes (evolutionists call this natural selection). This led to all sorts of variation that is broken down into various species in scientific terms. Physical evidence exists to explain the bottom diagram. There is no physical evidence to explain the top diagram – which is the one taught.
