It’s based on free will. God loves us and grants us salvation. But also because of that love and free will, if someone chooses to not love god he does not make them be with him in heaven bc they rejected his love throughout life.

Those who believe that He will are going to be greatly disappointed.

  23. Dan Farnow says:

The way I see it, if one is unrepentant and wanting nothing to do with God, plus wanting to be the center of the universe, I question if he/she will be happy in heaven, as it will all be about Him. Imagine going to a party where it is all about celebrating someone you don’t like. Also, we are to love and serve one another. My guess is that it will be the same way in heaven. So someone I mentioned above would probably not appreciate heaven. So the only alternative is to be apart from God for those that want nothing to do with Him…… If the question is if God will let someone into heaven if they repent at judgment. My guess is that it is possible (thinking mainly of one who never heard the gospel), as I think God does have the right to decide and He would be the last one who would one someone to perish. Yet I would still err on the side of caution as I don’t think scripture explicitly says this.
