   That whole chapter is speaking of tve blessings of keeping the Sinaitic Coventant. The old testament history saw how they failed more often than did it. Both kiindoms (Israel and Judah were carried into captivity becausecof their failures, but Judah was restored to the Holy Land so Messiah could be born and prophecy fulfilled with the Messiah.
