I am sure that this has been asked before and I am going to ask it again, so I apologize, if you have seen this question please feel free to move on.
I’ve been working to study more of the philosophy of religion. Many philosophers when reviewing the existence of a God pulled out characteristics of God that must be true if God is to be God. God must be Omnibenevolent, omniscience, omnipresent, and omnipotent. There is one more Omni but I can’t remember it off the top of my head.
There are many philosophical questions that come from skeptics pinning these against each other. Do you have any recommendations on philosophical literature addressing this? Or do you have any individual wisdom on discussing these?
Eternal. True, its not an omni but in a way it is. God not only is every where but in all time. He is dwelling in eternity, he has access to all time. He is in every when which really stretches the mind. That is how I have always seen it as I thought about it over the years. We live limited to the moment in time and only move forward in lockstep with the seconds. He is and has been with us where ever we are all of us every where and beyond here and now and when.
Simply,include that to wide rage of worldviews about God,which do not change how God is,but expose attributes of how diverse understanding view God.
The attributes of God are deducted using Logic from the laws of Logic. God is a necessary being. It’s impossible for God no to exists since something exists
