I can’t WAIT to fellowship again!
I believe if we truly understand what it means to be a church ( no theological statement here), we will rush back to the church builďing to meet, greet and hug our extended family. Only lukewarm and lazy Chrsitains will stick to their laptops. Those who love Lord Jesus Christ will wanna experience corporate worship again. And yes I know building is not the church we are and blah blah blah.
Change is Paramount. We have to accept it

The early church met in homes. I’ve been a part of small home groups for almost 40 years. Sometimes I believe it gives people the opportunity to get deeper into the Word, rather than to sit idly and passively listening to a sermon that may not be pertinent to their current life situation. I do attend church, but home groups meet my spiritual needs better.
Listen….. I’m running back in those doors as soon as I can! If the order is lifted during a weekday, we are having a service that evening! We all talk throughout the day on messenger and have zoom studies several times a week as well as livestreams. We miss worshipping together. It’s going to be hard to get us to leave! We will likely continue to livestream as well, but we’re not staying home.
Nothing to be concerned about. The body will be the body and it will congregate. Those who never knew Him may find to really enjoy church from home. That’s it.
I find some credibility in this.
I sat in the ruins of a home once in Ephesus that belonged to Christians . They had a secret sign on the threshold to indicate to other believers. It was not unusual as these one great cities were home to numerous religions and cults. Ephesus was dominated by their god Artemis a tiny female figurine.
If a congregation feel it’s acceptable to remain in online services instead of gathering as we are supposed to there is either a deficiency of the pastor from teaching the importance of that, or a spiritual infancy problem that the spirit needs to resolve in those individuals.
Nope. Go back to church. This plandemic is part of an agenda. People won’t wake up and see the fakery because they like the lie they live in. Just like the vaccine coming for this fakery. Any Christian accepting Vaccines well, bluntly is not a Christian. If you can’t figure out why, I’d suggest learning real fast. Check out Del Bigtree, Andrew Wakefield, Dr. Dale Brown ‘The Wild Doc’ to name a few. Learn the truth about your precious pharma companies or suffer eternal death. You’re being deceived.
People stay home and watch church virtually before the pandemic. There will be people to watch after the pandemic. I think churches will be packed when this is over.
I’m of the opinion this is giving people insight into the gospel that would not have had it before with all of the online viewing of worship and preaching. God calls we answer, I’m grateful for the extra means to that end than not.
Why would that be a problem? Shouldn’t pastors be willing to teach people via the internet even if they don’t contribute financially to their salaries?
Cross that bridge when we come to it

I’ve been shut in for years. So I’m just glad to finally participate in more local services. As much as I want the pandemic over, I’ll just feel alone again.

That’s been my concern for our local church as well. “Church at home” was already a growing movement in my area.
Both physical and online church are important. One could not imagine the reach of online churches. Pastors please continue to do the work of God and the rest will be fine. Do not be concerned about the impact of online churches.
The holy Spirit will continue to work be it online or there in the pew. Just preach the gospel faithfully. The holy Spirit will do the rest. The Holy Spirit will draw them into the church, or draw them into the virtual church service. Just pray for eyes of sinners to be opened so they can see there great need for God and Gods great love for them.
Then these pastors are not teaching what the real Church is .

Well, you get to include your dogs, watch in your PJs, and bring snacks. ?
The streaming is like baby formula compared to mothers milk ,its ok but you are far more spiritually nourished by attending church. We all need the interactions between spiritual siblings celebrating and learning to please our heavenly father better.
