So many man made traditions its absolutely actually ludacris. If the average RCC member actually sat back and went hmm..without checking their brain at the door… they would actually run away fast and far from the RCC.

Thomas, Why not have an intelligent argument about this topic?
The Catholic church does not teach the worship of Mary. You are creating a ‘straw man’ argument. You have no idea what you are talking about my friend and should dishonor the Lord’s mother. And lastly, why do protestants believe they have to hate the Catholic Church to justify their ‘church’? Now THAT, is an interesting question. -
They are deceived and they are deceivers. Just piling up their sins until God takes His vengeance.

When you get away from scripture like Rome does you will come up w all kinds of false teachings. Purgatory, a pope, a priesthood, praying to Mary n saints, treasures of merits, etc……
Man made belief system.

Although Jesus paid homage to his mother on the cross. That does not mean to pray to her.The RCC is full of this. Luther separated from the Catholic church because of this.He did away with the statues and rituals.

Thomas, my question would be which catechism you are looking at. The Lutheran catechism does not put such emphasis on Mary.

Well if less than 10% of Christians have read the Bible. How many do you think have read the catechism? Not that a Catholic is a Christian. But you get what I’m saying I’m sure.

Catholics are just goofy!
There is no reason she needs to be a permanent virgin. Isaiah 7.10-14 only says she needs to be a virgin when Jesus is born. That’s it!
