Is doing the will of God our free choice? And will being active in fornication exclude you from heaven?

2. “This is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication.” – 1 Thess. 4:3

You second question uses the word active. I’d say, if that is where your heart is and if you are happy in it, then you are in danger.

Do you hate your sin? Do you know what your sin is? Jesus came to save not condemn but he didn’t die for us to blatantly disobey either. If you believe, you will allow His indwelled Holy Spirit to convict you of your sin and transform you. If there’s no conviction you need to question whether you are in-dwelt & truly believe.
Submitting our will to His through prayer brings peace, comfort, and guidance, and the way into the Kingdom becomes clear.
If someone continues to reject this guidance they are heading in their own way.
Yes. 2nd depends on your conscience. If your conscience knows something is sinful and continue in it till death then while we shouldn’t use the word condemn your case would be difficult to say the least. Hebrews and Peter seem to speak of this kind of person who actively sins toward fellow believers even. This person essentially tries to crucify Christ a second time. But the fornicate who doesn’t come across discernment over them in this area I don’t believe will be held accountable. Although I would question this persons community if there allowing this without discerning alongside the person.
2nd. Some have a face that allows them to do so without trying.
I am not that fortunate, fornication seems to be what god had in mind when he created me. Perhaps I am but the means to test the faith of Christian females.

God gives us commandments to keep us safe and to help us know the way back to Him. He promised us free will, He will not force, but He does let us know the consequences of our actions. You can see the immediate consequences all around you.
