   The Church is not a building or a mode of worship. It is the people who occupy the building. Biblically speaking the Church is a living organism also known as the Body of Christ of which the Lord Jesus Christ is the Head. Only the born-again can be members of this Church and it transcends all denominations or groups of fellowship. Other Biblical analogies of the Church is that of Bride and Bridegroom and also a temple, a collective temple of which Christ is worshiped at the center.

   I also think when God says he knows our hearts that matters when it comes to worship. That we don’t worship in vain I don’t think God cares if its done on a stage with lights and whatnot or if its done in our cars or our homes. As long as our hearts mean it.

   The Biblical modal of church was in houses of the saints for the best part of 2/3 centuries…. do a study on the practice of the early church and how this was to function laid out by the apostles and ultimately Jesus. Is church up for grabs about how we practice or is there a biblical mandate clearly laid out that should never have have been forsaken? This is something that has mainly been lost and no doubt an offence to God.
