  1. Larry Koester says:

those who DID fall away never really believed anyway. Convenient. Limited atonement seems to be at play here. Being confessional Lutheran I accept neither as being taught in Scripture.

  2. Michael Marianetti says:

A faith that endures until the end is evidence it was genuine from the beginning.

  3. David Castro says:

I like the name Perseverance of the Saints, once saved always saved can lead one to a form of Antinomianism.

  4. Peter Grapsas says:

Look. Once you’ve been save, You are then kept into that jurisdiction until the very end. The reason is, you never started the process.. God started it, and what he stats ,he finishes. It’s all of God fellas, so get over yourselves.. Human pride gets in the way all the time, that’s why it’s all of Grace. All of it..

  5. Raul Matsuda Renteria says:

    Sealed means sealed. Done deal

    GREAT TRUTH. SALVATION BY GOD

  7. Tommy Dixon Raga says:

John 10:27-29 (KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

  15. Eric Licayan says:

Salvation is provation by God by his Grace not by our good works Eph. 2:8-9 . Titus 3:5 .Giving salvation is Gods part,He give his life ,he died for the forgiveness of our sin he give everlasting life as a promise our part is to believe and trust him of what he has done.

  16. Alan Parsons says:

Salvation is conditional, there’s numerous verses say so. There’s no verses that say once saved always saved. It’s a lie from Satan and it’s saddening to see a growing number of Christians believe it. Don’t bother trying to argue with me because I’m sick of doing so all the time. Calvinism is heresy

  17. Dean Stark says:

God will never turn from you, but you can clearly reject Him. Once Saved Always Saved is another perversion of the Word. Please don’t post that kind of thing around as you may be responsible for causing others to wander astray.

  18. Mason Childers says:

This is an apologetics group people! What’s with all of the theology posts?? There are plenty of groups that are designed for this kind of discussion. This is not the purpose of this group!

  19. Emeka Augustine says:

This is a very dangerous and deadly theology and must not be accepted by anybody that wants to make heaven.

What’s more good news than you can’t lose your salvation after you are saved? ???

  22. Ross Duncan says:

People get this wrong because they want it to make sense to them. But Biblically, it is correct. Once saved always saved according to Christ. Not according to you. If you had the say so in your salvation, then you have the say so to lose it. However, Christ does not save His people and then unsave His people. That would then be a salvation that depended on how good we are and that is a lie from hell.

  23. Celeste Marie says:

I wonder if those who struggle with the security of Salvation do so because they want to pat themselves on the back for the part they play in their own Salvation. Me, I know that there is nothing I can do to earn or to keep my Salvation. This is all God.

  26. Ralph Anthony says:

If we could lose our salvation we all would.

  27. Eric Javier Saenz says:

Sorry…one can totally choose to walk away from their salvation. Scriptures prove it. Look at parable of the soils…And no ideological arguments can rebuff all those we know who stop running the race..

  28. Eric Javier Saenz says:

Having said that, if we keep abiding in Christ , loving each other..and maintaining in his word..(all 3 scriptural signs you are a Christian) we have salvation..yet we still sin..That is why we are saved by grace through our faith…not because we are good..but because the spirit lives within us

  29. Kent Wilkens says:

show me ONE verse that says “once saved, always saved”, just one

  30. Jember Almojuela says:

I was asked a pastor if were always save then he said obcourse then I replied: even if the people murdered thousands without repent? He said yes. Then I wanna say you’re Theological knowledge is very dangerous lol

  31. Jireh D Hormann says:

So if you leave your spouse and get divorced, you were never married in the first place?

If you fall off your horse, you were never really riding it in the first place?

Free will allows to walk away from a free gift. Not lose it.

  32. Anthony Bryant Sr. says:

There are no scriptures that support such false doctrine, Matthew 24; is one of many The can be no apostate without one being a believer, a born again person who had fallen away. The Hebrew wired in Hebrews 2; warns us about the sine of unbelief. Hebrew 6; speaks of the unforgivable sin. one who has tasted of the Holy Spirit who was once born-again can deny the Holy Spirit.

  33. Mark Fonner says:

Too many Calvinists. So little time!

  34. Harout Nalbandian says:

“Whoever endures to the very end shall be saved” there is not once saves always saved.

  35. Neil Steven Lawrence says:

    Heresy!

  36. John Eksted says:

The ones that endure till the end are the elect. No one is able to snatch them out of Christ’s hand.

Need to balance security and warning.

  41. Suleiman Abd Al-Masih says:

You are right but whosoever comit sin is a slave of sin

  42. Michael Connolly says:

People ascribe to themselves power to save and authority to eliminate not only the efficacy of the atonement but to thwart the will and authority of God.

If it were not for the grace of God, simply this blasphemy is enough to cause you to lose your salvation if it were possible.

  43. David Okai says:

Satan has and is using this false doctrine to deceive a lot of souls.

Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

  44. Ibrahim N. Kiarie says:

ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED … IF SAVED

  45. Kent Wilkens says:

So does God warn us against things that are not possible? Are these verses directed at believers or unbelievers?

DO THE SCRIPTURES CONTAIN WARNINGS TO BELIEVERS AGAINST FALLING
    AWAY?
    ———————————————————————

    ROMANS 11:22 NKJV
Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward
you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

    1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-2 NKJV
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you–unless you believed in vain.

    PHILIPPIANS 2:12 NKJV
    Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

    HEBREWS 6:4-6 NKJV
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

    HEBREWS 10:26-31 NKJV
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgement, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

    REVELATION 2:4-5 NKJV
4 “Nevertheless I Have this against you, that you have left your first love.
5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come quickly and remove your lampstand from its place–unless you repent.

    REVELATION 3:15-16 NKJV
15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
16 “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth.

  46. Kimberlee Leslie says:

This teaching is straight from hell.

  47. Alison Taylor says:

I think it depends on your status on finishing the race rather than stating it

  48. Peter Grapsas says:

You cant be half alive.. Either your alive or your dead.. The Bible says that God make us alive. So if he starts the process, he’ll finish it..
