Paul. He was a roman citizen in a time citizenship was bought. He was born a citizen which means it was bought by other members of his family. He was also sent to school to become a Pharisee. In short, Paul came from a wealthy family. So not only did he give up his reputation after persecuting the church, he gave up his wealth for Christ.

i am anyone special God for what ever reason has shown me some things i havenet seen in 3 different commentaries Gen 37 Shechem means Shoulder Hebron means Join Dothan means Law . Joseph through much pain and suffering “Shechem”

At night I see nothing for it is dark, in the day I see those thing revealed by the light, therefore I know what things exist. The bible is like that in that the things revealed in it would not be known had it not existed. I think they call it self evident.

A whole chapter in Lee Strobel’s case for Christ – linguistic, archaeologic, historic etc. Remember that the Bible is not one book but its 66 books, written by 35 people from peasants to kings, over 1600 years, in 4 languages. The fact that it cross references itself, predicts future events with accuracy, and is often used by scholars as evidence – is enough

I would have to say the overall harmony and consistency given the fact that it was written by 40 different people, in diff centuries, languages and continents!!! Praise God for this miracle!

The fact that the Bible is actually a collection of 66 books that contain a variety of genres: history, poetry, prophecy, wisdom literature, letters, and apocalyptic, just to name a few. The fact that these 66 books were written by 40 different authors. These authors came from a variety of backgrounds: shepherds, fishermen, doctors, kings, prophets, and others. And most of these authors never knew one another personally. The fact that these 66 books were written over a period of 1,500 years. The fact that these 66 books of the Bible were written in 3 different languages, Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, a reflection of the historical and cultural
circumstances in which each of these books were written. And finally, the fact that these 66 books were written on 3 different continents, Africa , Asia, and Europe. Think about the above realities: 66 books, written by 40 different authors, over 1,500 years, in 3 different languages, on 3 different continents. What’s more, this collection of books shares a common storyline – the creation, fall, and redemption of God’s people; a common theme – God’s universal love for all of humanity; and a common message – salvation is available to all who repent of their sins and commit to following God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength.

Coincidentally, I’m planning to read a book titled ” Historical Reliability of the Gospels” by Blomberg. For me personally, if the Bible is reliable as an historical document then we should be able to study and critique it as one. That, I think, is the most important evidence.
