George Swinnock ~ As arrows. Children are compared to “arrows”. Now, we know that sticks are not by nature arrows; they do not grow so, but they are made so; by nature they are knotty and rugged, but by art they are made smooth and handsome. So children by nature are rugged and untoward, but by education are refined and reformed, made pliable to the DIVINE Will and Pleasure.

(Psalms 127:3 & 4)
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. “As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.”

    I find the meme reprehensible. Whatever schools claim to be true, is justified as such through empiricism, pragmatism and rationalism. Do you have anything demonstrably better?.

    Not only that, but there are about 40,000 christian denominations. There is no consensus among Christians. Why should one regard the story of Noah as true, when many Christians claim that it is not?.

    How come it is precisely that which is in conflict with your theology, that which you have an issue with?. Is it not suspicious that such is the case?.
    Have we not been here before?, was it not upon a time regarded as ungodly to think that the earth goes around the sun?, that the sun is a burning sphere?.
    Is it not about time to get the memo?
    Must the world constantly drag religion along?
