Any theories how long Adam and Eve lived in the garden before the fall of man?

Is it acceptable to assume Adams age given in the Bible includes time in Gods grace in the garden, or did his age begin after eating the fruit and being kicked out?

Interesting question but a theory you can’t test is just a guess.

We don’t know how long they lived before the fall. The Bible doesn’t say. It only gives their age when they die.

I think it was seven days and then they went out to eat on the weekend and Adam said, I don’t care you pick and then bam, next thing you know ????‍♀️

And that my friends is why the man is supposed to pick the restaurant.

    That’s my theory anyway??‍♂️

Dude it wasn’t a historical event.

Just my opinion but If the literal approach to Genisis is taken then there is no reason to believe they lived longer than stated. GOD set the sun, moon and stars to keep track of time before he created Adam. When Adam counted his age it would likely have been by the standard that God set.

It probably wasn’t long, maybe a matter of weeks. Satan got to work fast.

My question to your question is what difference does it make

  8. Caleb Backholm says:

Not very long. Weeks, maybe months. The fact that Eve hadn’t gotten pregnant yet makes this the most plausible view in my mind.

unknown how long Adam was alive before Eve, and unknown how long before they were kicked out., could have been months

Very good question .. Ibthink a litural onterpretation would be preferable … But hey who knows … Its not like he had birthdays lol

As It was God who told Moses the number of all the days of Adams life I will go with God. Remember Moses lived about 1500 years after the creation and Adam, its God himself who chose Moses as a baby to be his vessel to free the Israelite’s. God updates Moses on what has occurred in human history so far since the creation event. Including the creation of the heavens and the earth and all life upon it including Adam, Eve the fall, Noahs flood, The calling of Abraham ect, ect. Jesus said if you don’t believe Moses you wont beleive me for Moses wrote about me.

Assuming Eve’s first child not yet born, then it’s less than nine months.

Otherwise, it’s hard to say as no indication had yet to be discovered. Eve may have had children, say daughters while living in the garden.

Another factor to consider is even was Lucifer driven out of heaven after creation of all things.

1 day is as a 1000 years and 1000 years is as a day to the Lord, so in God’s economy, he died in a day. Died spiritually, as well. Rough “day” for Mr and Mrs Adam & Eve

128 years Adam and Eve lived till the fall of man.

I think his age began when he was created. Because when God created the universe, he created time. I don’t think Adam and Eve were in the garden very long before they sinned. They were there for a short time, as the Bible indicates in the cool of the evening God walked with them. So there must have been a few days or a few weeks. I don’t think Satan was going to waist time in tempting man to sin, so I’m sure it wasn’t long.

Imagine the time Adam named all the animals??

  19. Toni Armstrong says:

I would say 900 and something years

  20. Richard Baa Amponsah says:

Considering the work of naming even animals hmm very long time before the fall

I need to know as well, I keep my family tree and don’t know what year to put for Adam”s birth
