It’s just sad that we most of the time assume that because it’s a simple question on our perspective, then it’s a stupid or a non-sense question. Everyone has different levels of understanding and brushing off an honest question seems to be a misunderstanding of what the Scripture teaches us about humility

From the op. I Can tell people aren’t reading the bible.

  15. Duncan Macpherson says:

    Not here. He is risen!

  16. Obed Newmai says:

Bible confirmed that he has risen from the dead, then from where is this question of physical dead body comes? Trying to respond would be a foolish because it is not a question at all. Where can we searched when the body has resurrected.

How can you become the defender of your if you doubt this basic truth?

  17. Andrew Azariah says:

    He has ascended to heaven.

  18. Nolan Keck says:

    He Rose!!!!

  19. James Steve Mazuran says:

The body of Jesus was not found after placing in the cave. If Rome had it, would it not be a better idea for them to parade his body in the street declaring him to be a false god and thereby destroying Christianity? They did not have the body so they had to do the next best thing. Murder all those who believed and preached of him.

  20. Helen Wankum says:

In my 42 years in God’s Word, I have heard this question honestly hundreds of times. It speaks to the same hope we have to be bodily resurrected. This is the one remarkable thing about Christ’s ascension is that it affirms Christ’s physical body went into Heaven following his resurrection.

Some saints assume we will receive our resurrected glorified bodies immediately when we come into the Lord’s presence after our death, however; scripture is clear to be absent from the body is when we are present with the Lord. As the children of Adam, we will partake of the bodily death bringing us full cycle from ash to ash.

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” Genesis 3:19 KJV

I consider the possibility that there will be those who will not taste of physical death so their bodies will not return to ash and that is those of the Rapture the doctrine of those individuals who will experience what Jesus did; the ascension of our physical bodies.

In His presence as absent from the body souls we will await the fulfillment of His 2nd coming as spirit beings because scripture says we will not receive our glorified bodies until a later time. Yet, get this; this is really cool, because the dead in Christ will be the first ones to experience what Jesus did; the resurrection of our original bodies, when the Lord SHOUTS and descends from Heaven we will rise and we will all join, the resurrected saints and the saints of the Rapture with the Lord in the air to the sound of that LOUD Trump!

    AWESOME!

“14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4: 14-18 KJV

  34. Luis Emanuel Vergara Fernández says:

    Conditioned question.

Jesus rose in his glorified body, and he is seated at the right hand of the Father. And this is the hope of those who believe: That when we are resurrected, we will be like him.

  46. Eddie Davis says:

Is this a serious post? If it is, please understand that the entirety of Christian doctrine is built around the fact that Jesus’s deceased body reanimated and retuned to life again after three days in the tomb. His physical body is alive, to this very day. His physical location is a mystery, as He ascended into the sky 40 days later at Pentecost (see book of Acts).
