Atheists who keep asking Christians for evidence of God are like fish in the ocean who asked for evidence of water.

I got evidence: This virus. He’s done it before and He will do it again when the earth forces His anger. Be glad it’s not the Black Death this time, cause it could be. It’s still out there.

Sometimes water is very clear. You just need to be patient with them ?

  3. Mong Santiago says:

Reminds me of the Leibnizian cosmological argument, why is there something instead of nothing at all?

  4. Charlemagne Alcala says:

Their demand for evidence is problematic, why do I say that? Let’s just say that God granted them their wishes and right before their eyes they saw God. What do you think will happen to these atheists? Here are the choices : a) they’ll just dismiss the event as mass hallucination b) that they were tricked by a Christian Houdini c) they all die. Hehe pick your choice.???

  5. Charlemagne Alcala says:

The point is until God opens their eyes, no amount of evidence can convince them to believe in God.

  6. Seth Hart says:

I can get behind this statement. Any classical theist probably should, IMO.

  7. Zack Brown says:

““T HE S PIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON M E, B ECAUSE H E ANOINTED M E TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. H E HAS SENT M E TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, A ND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, T O SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, T O PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.””

    * capitalization is in reference to the Old Testament, Isaiah 61:1

  9. Arthur Adam Haglund says:

I have a standing challenge to all atheists that want evidence of a being that is superior do the physical laws of the universe and who is not a physical being.

My challenge is like this tell me what sort of experiment that you in the Physical Realm can elaborate to test for a spiritual being once you tell me how to do that in your able to properly enact it God will appear as the answer until then, the ball is in your court for asking for a physical proof of a non-physical thing.

  10. Adam Monty says:

    lol rubbish.

  11. Adam Monty says:

If you want me to be convinced that God exists, you don’t need to give me an incontrovertible apodictic proof.

I’m not looking for that degree of proof, and I don’t think most atheists ask for that degree of proof.

    All you need to do is give me three things;

1./ A coherent definition of God.
2./ A set of empirically testable and falsifiable predictions based on the supposition that God exists.
3./ Test results that match those predictions and are more parsimoniously explained by God’s existence than any other hypothesis.

To date, apologists have failed to meet even the first requirement.

  12. Paul Brown says:

    God is obvious.

  13. Eddie Davis says:

Maybe they are just hungry and asking for bread… I see nothing wrong with folks asking for evidences. In fact, I think it is admirable.

We Christians are told to stand ready to have a response about why we believe. So…bring on the questions about evidence:-)

  14. Bob Bosch says:

    Fish can feel the water.

  15. Ava Reyes says:

A Christian once told me: Ava, the air you breathe is your proof of God. This post is an analogy of the exact same thing.

  16. David Jones says:

There is much proof of God but not if you think this earth is 6000 yrs old. That is blind faith. I know by observing the geological records and looking at the universe that our universe is old as well as our earth. To say otherwise reject proven evidence thus it alienate the unbelievers.
