So John 6:66 is a cursed verse?

There’s nothing significant bout the chapter divisions and verse numbers -_-
When the new testament was written there were no chapter numbers and verses. -
Funny since Roman Paganism did that despite the fact they hide behind Mary and call it the Catholic Church

Verse and chapter numbers are not inspired. They were added much later to aid it memorization and referencing.
This is ridiculous. -
Did you know that the original manuscripts does not have chapters and verses? From there correct your superstitious beliefs. ?

Verses are an addition to the original text and you could say the same thing about the RCC.

You could swap out “protestants” for any denomination/cult you are wanting to unjustly vilify.

This guy here smh…. The people being described in that verse walked away because of the level of loyalty and devotion Jesus was saying that disciples needed to have to be considered His children. They understood the semantics of what Jesus was saying by “eating my flesh and drinking my blood” and knew what Jesus was saying. Catholics on the other hand actually take Jesus’s words of eating His flesh and drinking His blood literally with a cannibalistic approach and came up with a deranged belief that the drinking of literal wine and eating of literal bread is actually the literal body of Christ they are consuming that just looks and taste like real food and drink. Protestants walked away from that twisted practice and belief of the catholic church.

John 6.66 talk about the RCC. .Pagan rome invented many man made doctrine theology contradict to the Scriptures. Read history from 300 AD. You will get the answer.
Jesus foreseen church will be crumble.. Because of false teacher, false doctrine will be emerge in the Church. The same as RCC teaching. -

I think the point of this post is that John 6:66 tells us that the crowd rejected Christ and didn’t listen to His Words. In Revelation, those who are deceived and take the Mark…are those who reject Christ and didn’t listen to His Word…that’s it. Nothing else to be expounded upon.

The chapter and verse divisions were added 500 years ago to navigate the text better… you do realize that right?
