Abomination unto God
-
This is Church of God, welcome

My..my..my..

If people want this kind of thing in their Church, then they can go to a night-club and watch them dance. We in the CofG need to get back to singin, preachin, prayin. It worked for hundreds of years and it will still work today.
-
Too much information
-
-
If you do not like this – maybe the fault is ours – have they seen the real dancing in the Spirit and felt the moving of His Spirit during worship?
-
No reverence in that ⛪ with that foolishness
-
That’s a youth skit not worship.

As someone who lived and ministered to youth in the Tampa Bay area, I say good job. Many of you commenting don’t know what it’s like for the youth there. I’m my youth ministry I had numerous kids who lived in single parent families. The difference was the parent they lived with was their father. Many of their mothers were hooked on drugs and walked away from their families. Unchurched, no money, no food. We would have to constantly feed these kids. Tampa Bay is a difficult place for youth. This is not an abomination unto God. Is it my cup of tea? No. But you don’t know their story. Just because it doesn’t look like what you want it too, doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

You guys are going to be real disappointed when you get to heaven and the angels are not singing out of the red back hymnal.
-
Jones…there’s a time and place for something like that..maybe at youth camp..but ⛪ is not it.
-
Shirley Hartley so it’s Godly at youth camp, ungodly in church. Wow. What a confusing message we must be teaching our youth.
-
Gary Jones you sound like this:
Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
Malachi 1:7 KJV -
First of all Obed Castro Higuera, our fight is not against flesh and blood. So when you are done attacking me go win some souls. You have already said your done with this conversation, so be done with it. I receive nothing from you. You can quote scripture all you want. All I hear is hypocrisy.
-
Nope Gary Jones… your fight is against the sound doctrine. Shame on your leadership to allow people like you to become an ordained minister and to be profaning the house of God with your light teachings. I feel sorry for those young guys. Their blood will be upon yours.

This is not intended for any one person on here, but just a general observation. Why is it on this page that we have individuals that want to rip on others and put them down for whatever reason. They will talk about holiness and Jezebel’s and women who wear too much makeup and jewelry. Wear dresses that are revealing, yet when you ask them about women in their own families that are on stage with sleeveless dresses or showing cleavage, have make up and jewelry on, and when you ask that person about it, suddenly they are either offended or quite and never respond. Don’t tell me your all about holiness and that these other women should do as you say, when the women in your own family don’t fit the profile you want others to fit into. They talk about wives with expensive jewelry but they or their family members drive around 80,000 dollar vehicles. Just curious.

Gary Jones..i love kid participation..singing on stage..plays and such..each church has kids night for something like that..or they should

Let’s all just face the fact that church has become a business, a religious business and changes have to be made to attract people who will buy the commodity we are selling. I heard one lady in a church say one time “this is a business and if it doesn’t make money we can’t do it”. It sickens me that this is what the church has been reduced to. The COG is not the only denomination this is happening to.

True

Very true.

We give our time, treasure and talents to the Lord from all of our heart. Every act of ministry has skills. You can tell me that T.D. Jakes, T.L. Lowery did not learn skills in preaching. Yes there is anointing and God uses our talents through His anointing if we depend on Him. These young people are expressing thier Love for God through the talents of theatrical arts. Those same arts that were a part of the church prior to TV during the middle ages and the shakpearan times. These young people did were not touching one another is a sexual way like the prostitutes of the pagan Gods, they were showing their love for Christ through the talents that God gave them. No, I sure don’t have any of those talents, but I can jump up and down, raise my hands, clap my hands for the Lord and I do it unashamedly before Him.
