Is there a dress code for ABs who serve elected offices in the Church of God? Would an executive committee member who wears tight jeans, tie less, shirt un-tucked and kool sport coat be seen as rebellious to the traditions of the church?
What will be the outward, external adornment of themselves?
Will there be a submissive heart or a rebellious spirit?

I missd the memo. ..didnt know a coat or tie was a requirement for C.O.G ministers ..nor is it scriptural! …hilarious! pk
Pastor don’t have to wear suit and ties
Lol! Neither does an AB’s
…God did require a dress code for priests and Levites for their ministry. So…,it was ‘under the law’ so what? God changes not…? Hmm. Does the Lord expect any less of his NT ministers who are entrusted with a far greater gospel than the Law offered? If a lawyer can be held in contempt for improper appearance , or if NFL Sunday football commentators are required to dress in suit & tie, Isn’t the calling of the ministry much higher, and should earn the respect of hearersvby our dress as well as our behavior and speech???
The clothing does not contain the anointing, but certainly makes a statement of the wearer…
God changed not? ok lets go have a sacrifice then. I don’t know the problem I don’t know any preacher that doesn’t at least wear a sport coat but I REFUSE to wear a tie except for VERY special occasions. I think sport coat is required for the GA
No, God changes NOT. He still requires sacrifice, it was completed in Christ, but redemption is still a necessity.
I realize that in reference to literally sacrifice a goat or sheep. I know Jesus was the sacrifice. And no he does not require any more it was finished means it is done no more. We have been redeemed by Jesus blood no more anything is needed. Just repentance
