Crime In Washington DC Is So Violent And Out Of Control That Many Residents Are Now Afraid To Walk The Streets Or Go Out In Public At Night
The crime situation in Washington, D.C., is so dire that residents are afraid to walk anywhere, opting instead to drive short distances, and are nervous to go out after dark, fearing they will be violently attacked on the city’s streets.
The Democrats and the Liberals tell us that, if they can just have enough money, they can solve the global Climate Change crisis, clean everything up and prevent the ultimate and impending destruction of our planet. Yet, at the same time here in America, nearly every city run by Democrats and Liberals looks like the backlot from a ‘Mad Max’ movie. In our capital city of Washington, DC, violent crime and robberies have increased so much residents fear for their lives by simply stepping outside after sundown. Would George Washington ever recognize the city that bears his name? I don’t think so.
“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” Revelation 12:5 (KJB)
In 2023, murders in Washington DC are up by 30% and robberies up by 70%, a trend that is showing no signs of slowing down. Our leaders in Washington are willing to give billions of dollars to Ukraine, yet peanuts to Maui when they had that terrible and suspiciously-set fire last month. Go to Philly, San Francisco and New York City, and you will see zombies bent over with needles sticking out of their arms, high on tranq. You think you can solve the climate crisis? Try solving homelessness and drug addiction first in places like Washington, then come talk to me about cleaning up the planet.
Washington D.C. Crime So Dire That Locals Are Afraid to Walk Places, Go out at Night
FROM BREITBART NEWS: In interviews with the Washington Post, a handful of residents detailed the precautions they have started to take to avoid falling victim to the city’s growing violent crime problem, where murders are up almost 30 percent, and robberies have jumped nearly 70 percent since last year.
“It’s so ridiculous,” 44-year-old Stephanie Heishman, a D.C. resident, told the Post about what she must do to avoid crime. “On the other hand, I don’t want to randomly get shot.”
Heishman said she has started driving short distances rather than walking. She said she made the decision after there was a gunfight outside her apartment building in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of D.C.
Likewise, three men were murdered on her block in August.
Another D.C. local named James, 58 years old, said he and his husband moved to Maryland after they were violently attacked alongside another couple in 2019 by a group of young people near Dupont Circle. More recently, James said he had a bottle thrown at his head while walking to Whole Foods.
Ronald Moten, a 53-year-old D.C. resident, told the Post he avoids going to the nearby gas station at night for fear of being robbed by criminals in the Hillcrest neighborhood. Twenty-eight-year-old Nora Fanfalone said she now uses the service entrance to her apartment so she is not attacked on her way inside her building or a witness to a shooting.
So far this year, there have been close to 4,000 violent crime incidents reported in D.C. — a nearly 40 percent increase compared to 2022. Overall, crime is up almost 30 percent. READ MORE
Washington DC declares ‘state of emergency’ due to surge in violent crime and robberies
Nationwide, crime is dominating the headlines in America. The Council on Criminal Justice says violent crimes have become more common over the past four years. In the first half of this year, the U.S. had 24 percent more murders than the same time frame in 2019. Car thefts are skyrocketing, up 104 percent over four years. Leaders in the nation’s capital say the District is in a state of emergency due to the high crime this year. Compared to 2022, Washington has seen a 37 percent increase in violent crime this year.

- HOW TO DONATE: Click here to view our WayGiver Funding page
Please continue to pray for us, and for wisdom for me especially, as we continue taking steps to print the NTEB branded King James Bible for our free Bible and Bibles Behind Bars program. It is exciting and intimidating at the same time. If the Lord has prospered your financially, we ask you to donate to help us continue to send out free Bibles at this level, and even higher than we are at the moment. It takes a lot of prayer, and a lot of resources to do all this. Praise the Lord we are doing it, all of us together, labouring in the Lord’s harvest field. TO THE FIGHT!!!
When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT…TO THE FIGHT!!!
