I was once in NC Summer Bible School. During a break of one of George Voorhi's classes when I heard a conversation between pastors. One said, "I could have a church as big as Livingston, if I let my members do anything they wanted to." I hear things like that still today, but not using Loran's name.

But I wanted to say here, that last Sunday we attended 'Calvary Church' in Lancaster, PA. (A huge church) We were invited by a friend I met in 1956 in the USMC. WOW the parking lot is bigger than a WAlmart. we walked 1/4 mile to get in. I was shocked, hundreds of teenagers, thousands of grownups. WE attended the 3rd service. The orchestra was about40-50 Choir between 80-100.

Bottom line, We worshipped with people who worshipped and praised our Lord. I was personally blessed and convicted by an indepth sermon and I was able to HEAR and UNDERSTAND over 90% of what was said. Normally with my implants, I may hear 90% but understand less than 50%

I just wanted to say, IF that church was smaller (at 86 yrs old that much traffic is confusing before and after church.) and near me, I would attend. (but that is Judging by one service, but I remember I learned and was blessed)

Truthfully from what this ignorant person has heard over the years I expected to be 'entertained' with smoke, lights and graphics. Shucks, I got none of that... ;-)
