Here are two fundamentals of the Church of God
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Are there any descensions (moving away from) from this? I read it literally as stated.

The COG is a trinitarian denomination -One God in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The COG is not tri-theistic but monotheistic; one God, Father, Son, Holy Ghost.
The COG baptizes in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The difference between the COG and the oneness is that they baptize in Jesus name (non-trinitarian formula) and baptism is the new birth (baptismal regeneration) and speaking in tongues is the evidence of the new birth. From the beginning of the denomination that has been rejected by the church and is the basis for this forum.
It would not be appropriate to take this to a discussion level and we have been seeing the last couple days. This is the admin position, the stated Declaration of Faith of the COG.
Open discussion is still the forum I just ask that we choose not to take this discussion to that level. It will be an emotional contentious debate.
