Anyone who emphasizes heart and mind holiness and say that externals are not important are non-judgmental.

Today we say come as you are; it doesn’t matter how you dress.

The “holiness people” of today preach internal transformation and outward appearances are not important.

Anyone who emphasizes outward appearances have not had a true change of heart and mind and this causes them to be judgmental

The “holiness people” of the past failed to preach about internal transformation.

They said that external holiness is important and that the externals were a reflection of an inner working of God.

Holiness is a reflection of sanctification and spiritual fruit. It is reflected inwardly and externally in our lifestyle.

today most church members are driven by ungodly worldly trends in matters of dressing, relationships with the opposite sex…But a born again christian who walks in holiness..is carried by decency in dress..holy relationships..a reflection of the inner sanctified life!!

Holiness can only be obtained by a sanctified life. Hebrews 12:14(b) states, “Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.”

Can a warrior on the battlefield practice holiness? Can the leader of a country ( who must make decisions that cost lives everyday ) practice holiness? Yet Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth were both righteous and walked in commandments and ordinances blameless. Lk. 1:6; so when we talk about holiness, does it not have something to do with one’s overall calling and station in life?
