On September 3, 1975, the Church of God’s Spanish Institute of Ministry opened in Houston, Texas. The purpose of the Institute was to prepare Spanish-language ministers in Latin America and the United States. Many, such as Assistant General Overseer Dr. David Ramirez, are now leaders in the Church of God. Dr. James M. Beaty, here with Virginia, was the first president.
