A group called 2nd Chance Ministries needs King James Bibles for their outreach at the Monroe County Jail in Madisonville Tennessee

This morning, we got an email from someone we had sent a Bible to in India, he said this: “Hello praise the Lord this is missionary Philip from Nepal, I am very thankful for the Ruckman Reference Bible which you have sent for me.” What a blessing that is to hear as we continue to send out King James Bibles to individual who need them all around the world. Here at home, there is a need at the Monroe County Jail in Madisonville, Tennessee.

“Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:36 (KJB)

We got an email from Sheri at a group called 2nd Chance Ministries, and she said “My name is Sheri Mason and I go by 2nd Chance ministries. I go church to church or events and sing and minister. I’m also on the board for homeless management of Monroe county and I do jail ministry here in Monroe county. We are in constant need of bibles and I also go out and minister to the homeless and take blankets, gloves, etc to them and I want to start giving them a bibles as well.” This is exactly why Bibles Behind Bars was raised up, to help supply personal workers and chaplains with the word of God.

We are sending her out the 5 cases of Bibles we have on hand at the moment, and will be supplying her with hopefully a couple of hundred of either full Bibles or New Testaments for the work that’s being done there at the Monroe County Jail. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ.
