A lot of “Christians” will be rejected by Jesus on the last day according to his words in the Bible and it’s because he never knew them and they lived a life of lawlessness.

Make sure you’re not one of them

“21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Matt 7:21-23

  3. Ron Williams says:

No “Christian” will be rejected. There’s a difference between Christians and those “claiming to be Christians by association”

  4. Michael Holford says:

So… how does one “make sure” of that?

    Yes 100%

“All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:3-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.””
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:14-16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!”
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭7:6-9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.”

I’ve never even cast out a demon or healed anyone. It’s at Jesus’ pleasure whether I live or die I guess

  9. Walter Mortley says:

That’s because they have a form of Godliness but deny the power there off. The have religion but a lot of them don’t have Christ

  12. Savenaca Seruvatu says:

It’s because they did not preach the Gospel of the kingdom and blocked the kingdom Gospel from those they taught. Christianity keeps preaching things that was not Gospel like calvary, healing, the resurrection, and many other things. No wonder God says that HIS people perish for
    the lack of knowledge

  13. Rick Wing says:

No Christian will ever be rejected. There may be those who think they are Christians that will be rejected.

  14. Joshua Seabolt says:

Ye we call them “religious zealots”

  16. Dinu Ghiurau says:

How do you know they will be Christians

  17. Emmanuel Scott says:

I believe this post is a call for self examination. Just as Paul commands us to. “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!”
    2 Corinthians 13:5 ESV

This is very healthy for every person that considers themselves in the faith to do. It checks the motives of the heart and brings your very character to question. Self reflection in comparison with the most high brings repentance and further sanctification in a Christian’s life. If you are not a Christian and just pretending, deceiving yourself, as the unregenerate heart does, it brings (surprisingly to you) damnation. Thanks for the reminder, brother!

no, a lot of people who think they are Christians. In this case, semantics makes a difference

  19. Andrew Malele says:

  21. Constantino Banjo Navarro III says:

Mat 7:21-23 is an exception to the general rule that those who call JESUS Lord will enter the Kingdom of God. Exceptionally some will not. The key word is lawlessness. A fruit of their lifestyle.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few chosen.

  23. Harkynyhemi Hollushorlar says:

There is a fullness of Christ that God desire we attain and that is achieve by depending on the holy spirit as we understand our union with Christ.

The big problem is, MANY ARE NAIVE OF THEIR UNION WITH CHRIST ( 1 COR. 6:17) and so, depending on the holy spirit seems impractical, perhaps, undulating in nature. We need to first understand our UNIONISM , afterwards, depending get easy.

Example, Romans 6:11 asked us to region ourselves dead to sin and alive to God. It means, for anyone who will successfully depend on the holy spirit for guidance, his underste of UNIONISM with Christ must be sharp. Thats the great tutn around in my spiritual walk and Pastor Andrew Wommack ministry who Gide used. When we understand our union with Christ, depending on the holy spirit gets easier.

My answer may be offtrack, but I know it may bless someone
