A Young Lady Ravaged By Grief And Drug Addiction Finds New Life In Jesus Christ In A Prison That’s Supplied By Our Bibles Behind Bars Program

At the end of her rope, on drugs and in jail, Bibles Behind Bars was already there waiting for her to trust the Lord, get saved and receive a King James Bible.

The Sebastian County Adult Detention Center is one of the many jails and prison facilities across the country that the NTEB Bibles Behind Bars program partners with. We supply the chaplains and their assistants with King James Bibles, New Testaments and John & Romans scripture portion booklets at absolutely no cost to them. In fact, we just processed an order for 1,000 of these precious booklets today for Chaplain Todd. He wrote and told me about an amazing event that happened in his jail just recently.

Chaplain Todd writes “Recently we had a a young lady in her twenties whose parents were both killed in an auto accident in our facility. From her hurt and grief, she went into a life of drugs and bad decisions.  God, in His mercy, spared her life.  She was off drugs for two days—just enough to clear her mind.  We reached her with the Gospel, and she trusted Christ last Sunday.  She is doing well and super excited about her salvation and the hope that Christ has brought in her life.” Because of our Bibles Behind Bars program, a brand-new King James Bible was already there, ready and waiting to be handed to her on Day One of her new life as a believer in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
