[Our Abba Father alone can create, and he alone can destroy. Nothing can be conquered but by the same Power that produced it. This is a most amazing fact. No power, skill, or craftiness of man can overpower the smallest particle of matter. Man, by chemical intervention, may change its form; but to reduce it to nothing belongs to God alone. In the course of his foresight God breaks down, so that it cannot be built up again.] “To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his. What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; those he imprisons cannot be released. If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land.” (Job 12:13-15) [This is the security we have in really “knowing” our Lord and Saviour and OUR Wonderful, Almighty Abba Father, we can always hope in Him!] “Though he slay me, YET WILL I HOPE IN HIM; I will surely defend my ways to his face”. (Job 13:15) [Samuel’s desire was for the people to “know” their God, but they wanted a king. Oh Lord help us TO LEARN TO WANT WHAT YOU WANT!] “If someone dies, will they live again? All the days of my hard service I WILL WAIT FOR MY RENEWAL TO COME.” (Job 14:14) (I wait, till my change come. (KJV) because Job knew that…) “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but WE WILL ALL BE CHANGED– in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and WE WILL BE CHANGED.” (1 Corin. 15:51-52) [This is, a thing which we may have never known before. But WHAT IS THIS MYSTERY? It is this: we shall not all sleep; we shall not all die; but WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED!] “For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “WHERE, O DEATH, IS YOUR VICTORY? WHERE, O DEATH, IS YOUR STING?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! HE GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.” (1 Corin. 15:53-57) [God spoke this through Hosea the prophet:] “I will deliver this people from the power of the grave; I WILL REDEEM THEM FROM DEATH. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?” (Hosea 13:14)
