  1. Michael Jenkins says:

Is he also evil for allowing you to live after you have hurt someone?

  2. John Delmore says:

I don’t respond to atheists’ opinions of God.

  3. Steve Losee says:

Was He just as “evil” for allowing YOU to be born?

  4. Tyler Fuss says:

I respectfully ask them what perfect, objective, moral standard do they follow.

  5. Steve Losee says:

better yet: what have YOU done that He should protect you?

  6. Roger Sovine says:

How can he blame God? He doesn’t believe God exists!

  7. Simon Campbell says:

Whoever says God is evil for allowing anything bad to happen to them or in the world, is deluding themselves with the idea that God owes us something and that we, as a human race, are completely innocent. If they really believe what they’re saying is absolutely true, they’ll have to justify their claims and back it up with something objective, otherwise it’s just mere opinion.

  8. Simon Yew says:

It is one of those gotcha moment trying to offend you. Just remember there will be a lot of scoffers and mockers at the last day. Don’t take the bait or you will basically fall for their deceiving tongue. Holy Spirit told me Satan will infected everyone either Good or Evil. Satan is playing both sides and will trying to deceived people. Even Jesus say the elect shall fall away. Only separation is whether you fall in love with this world or you despised it. Also God is not mocked regardless what they say.

  9. Laura Newman says:
  10. Jerry Spencer says:

if God doesn’t exist, how can you hold Him responsible for anything?

  11. Dwayne Sanders says:

Depends on the atheist and their intentions. Unless the atheist is willing to listen don’t waste your time. They enjoy taking information we provide and twisting it. If you choose, pray before hand.

  12. Christopher Soulos says:

Compliment the atheist on finally agreeing God is real.

  13. John Phillips says:

    By what standard?

  14. Kyle Smith says:

How would an Atheist define what is good or evil?

  15. Jeff Wilkinson says:

How is anything evil without God?

  16. Duane L Burgess says:

Not much to say to a natural man, who does not receive the things of the spirit. It opens a whole can of worms they’re not likely to acknowledge. But it’s worth a shot: it may be a seed planted.

The coronavirus and all other evil is a result of mankind’s rebellion and disobedience of the Creator.

  17. Madison Willoughby says:

I’d ask them if God keeps them from doing stupid things. Since the answer will, of course, be ‘no’ because God doesn’t exist, I’d ask them why God would keep those stupid scientists from bringing those bats back to the city with them? How, in any way is this mess God’s fault? God gives everyone the freedom to do stupid things just like He’s given them the freedom to reject Him. Those are my thoughts.

  18. Debbie Gutierrez says:

Befriend them and love the hell out of them! Lol.
Honestly I believe that someone assorts this worldview because they have been hurt.
I always take the position that if we believe in God then we must believe in Satan, the world is fallen and God is not to blame for the evils of this world, but he is the hope of this world.
But other than that, I think loving people speaks louder.

  19. Ryan Wangen says:

By what standard is he claiming that God is evil? To call someone evil is to import a moral term from a moral law giver that they don’t believe in! ? They have to sit in God’s lap to slap him in the face.
When a human plays God via abortion it’s their moral right but when God plays God he’s evil? ???‍♂️

“If I had God’s power for a day there’s much I would change. If I had his wisdom to go with it, I wouldn’t change a thing.”

  20. Herb Van Schoick says:

If he doesn’t exist how can he be evil? How can evil even exist? It’s just random chance. Not much to defend here.

  21. Franklin J Guerrero says:

I don’t understand how an atheist can claim that God is evil if he does not believe that God exist !!! ???

  22. William Clark says:

If anyone claims God is evil, then I’m curious what their standards for right and wrong are? Who set those standards they are using and have those standards changed/evolved over time?

  23. Lenora Ogden says:

Sin! It is because we live in a fallen world! You can’t blame God for what this world loves, Sin…..

  24. Lisa Tilley says:

Watch frank turek. He goes into this very well. This and many other apologetic points and questions.

  25. Seth Shay says:

If God is perfect and He decided to get rid of evil (that of which is not of God, then we’d all be dead.

  26. Daniel Struse says:
  27. Bob Jones says:

If they are an atheist, they have no basis for declaring anything is evil or not, nor can they blame a God they don’t believe exists.

  28. Thomas Simpson says:

If they believe God sent the Corona then they believe that there is a God

  29. Sharon Parr says:

    Research shows
    1. the HIV Aids epidemic came from killing monkeys or chimps for food.
    2. COVID was from wet markets with selling of unclean animals (from bats to pangolins) for food
    3. SARS was the same (from bats to masked palm civet being sold for food).

Maybe it’s not a popular view, but maybe if people followed traditional Levitical laws around cleanliness with food and animals, these pandemics could have been avoided? It appears these are just the known natural consequences of disobedience.

  30. Chrispine Lupupa Junior says:

Then it means they are not atheists because they admit that God exist although they see Him as evil. And who told them that corona virus is an evil things ?

  31. Roy Sommerey says:

The world was not set up to be free of hurt, pain, evil and wrongdoing. Otherwise your atheist friend wouldn’t be able to live here. For there to be the freedom to choose to do good and to love, the freedom and potential to achieve hurt pain and thi do wrong also has to be there.

  32. Jay Zeke Malakai says:

Always, always, ALWAYS ask them by what standard they think they can judge God. There are so many reasons an atheist cannot rationally judge God:

    1. It’s circular. If God exists, He is the standard of good and evil, therefore by using an external standard, they are ASSUMING He isn’t real to begin with.

    2. What does an atheist know? Even the smartest human who ever lived is a complete GOON compared to God. It’s like pointing to a vaccination and saying “That hurts, and I don’t understand it, therefore the doctor is evil.” Good logic for a child, most adults know it’s ridiculous.

    3. Going back to the external standard, not only do atheists have to establish it, they actually have to identify it. They never can. Every argument an atheist uses for anti-Christian morality is flawed. The government? Then Hitler was good. Society? Then we can Democratically own slaves. Empathy? “I don’t like it” is NOT an argument.

There’s basically nothing an atheist can do. Calling God evil for anything is effective because it plays with the heart, not the head. Once you look at it from a purely logical standpoint, all atheistic arguments from morality destroy atheism.

  33. Neil S. Robin says:

Ask them to define what evil is and what authority determines that.

  34. Phil Fox says:

They need to define evil, and they will not be able.

You can’t have one without the other. Without bad then is good truly good? Without pain can there be relief? Without suffering can there truly be peace? If God just wanted robots, then He would have just created angels who wouldn’t Sin. Then God might as well just not have created! It’s a logical fallacy to think you can enjoy the mountains top without the valleys. How do we really understand good without the opposite? How can we finally know peace in our lives without trouble?

To take away evil or wrong or pain is to take away all free will! To ask God or to assume God “should ” take pain, suffering, hurt away is to take away true Joy, Happiness, Peace. And therefore take away our free will!

  35. Isaac Afedzi says:

Then he is no more an atheist. So tell him that because of the pandemic he now believes the existence of God…

  36. Scott Kirby says:

An atheist, who thinks God is evil, really, how does that work

  37. Mike Duffy says:

The first thing to ask him is how does he come up with a sense of good and evil without God? If there is a good then there is an evil. If there is an evil there is a good. If there is a good and evil then there must be a standard that distinguishes between them. If there is a standard there must be a standard giver. That question leads back to God. You cannot justify objective morals on the basis of atheism. It only leads back to what is helpful to be able to live together in a community. But this would not have anything to do with objective good and evil. So where is he getting his concept of evil?

  38. Daniel Struse says:

    Some one once said.

“God doesn’t exist but he is evil and I hate him.”

  39. Aroop Kumar says:

If he is an atheist, why is he believing in an “evil” God?

  40. Patrick McMahon says:

Biblically speaking, we live in a fallen world where real evil happens even to good people.

  41. Corey Matthew says:

    Phillip Jerome Garbo Tome

A great answer to this is: To what standard are they basing “evil” on? For if God does not exist than morality does not exist. For an atheist can no more call a virus evil, than adolf hilter evil, than people who serve the homeless good. If morality is subjective than there is no such thing as good and evil.

    BUT

If morality is objective, which it seems to be because most people will concede that the rape and executions of babies is an evil act, there has to be some universal standard for good. There is no other rational standard for that good outside of God.

  42. Joseph Nayo says:

An atheist does not believe in the existence of God, so why will he blame God that doesn’t exist for the corona virus, the atheist will only be contradicting himself.

  43. Anthony Nagle says:

God is not our fairy godfather who’s only purpose is to bless and protect us. That’s the perspective of that statement.. Many think this way.. And many blame God for the evil in the earth. But continually avoid the fact the there is a devil too. Even among those who do believe God exists.

  44. Neil Steven Lawrence says:

How can someone who doesn’t exist (according to them) be evil?

  45. Christi Fay Shiflett Williams says:

It’s called free will. We are not in heaven yet. When it rains it does so on the just and unjust.

  46. Edem Kojo Obedie says:

How can a God who doesn’t exist according to the atheists, allow Coronavirus to happen?

  47. Ross Wildgoose says:

How can can an atheist say God is evil if…… What is good and evil anyway to an atheist… surely such definitions don’t exist…? ?

  48. Steve Losee says:

I’d ask what they think merits God’s protection from it?

  49. Roxy A. Velasquez says:

How can he claim God is evil if He doesn’t believe in His existence? That doesn’t even make sense. I would have responded by debunking that, “You say God is evil, therefore, you do believe in His existence you just don’t like His supposed character. So then really, you’re not an antheist you’re just confused on the character of God.”

You missed a great opportunity to share the Good News to an apparently confused person.

  50. Bob Hawkins says:

Question there presupposition. The atheist/naturalist paradigm does not allow for an evaluation of good or evil.
